We found this by accident, and we were glad we did. Amazing tacos that you get to custom make. Being from San Diego we have amazing Mexican food, but the meat here at Taco Joint blew us away. Everything tasted good. We actually got to meet and chat with the owner for a bit. Excellent service, excellent food, and good vibes. Pura Vida

Homemade everything and excellent. The local coffee was very good. My boys were almost crying with enjoyment from their cinnamon rolls they had for breakfast. And my wife and I kept it simple but delicious. We went here twice in the 6 days we were in town. Actually, we tried to go a 3rd time, but they weren't open yet. So we went to a competitor and that was great too. Separate review! But if we're ever back in Jaco, we'll be back at The Coffee Shop guaranteed!

Are here with some friends while in Jaco. Ordered virtually everything on the menu. Ambiance was perfect, relaxed. Food was outstanding. Service was attentive but not overpowering. Prices were more than reasonable. The prosciutto chicken was superb. Shrimp and grits amazing. Pork belly, ummm yes! Ribs were excellent. Tuna tower was wonderful. Highly recommend this gem. Great little beer house! Most places in Costa Rica advertise but donât deliver. If youâre looking for some low key craft beer drinking, this is your place. Not a super major selection, but definitely worth the stop. Super cozy and loud enough to not yell at your companion. Thanks for taking the time to write a nice review. Vista Hermosa Restaurant looks like any other restaurant for from the road; however when you walk inside you get spectacular views in a great, bar / restaurant setting. We had a selection of dips with tortillas and for mains, I had a FABULOUS shrimp with rice. The Pina Colada was superb and the choice of beers were amazing. The tuna (my husband's choice) was the most amazing cut of Tuna I've ever seen. The flavour was just utter freshness. Service was excellent and as mentioned, the views were just what any beach lover needs to cure the soul. Highly recommended - I don't usually do restaurant reviews (mostly only hotels) however Vista Hermosa Restaurant deserves a mention. If you are passing between Manuel Antonio and the airport or the Arenal area, it's a very convenient stop off.

I am a real burger lover and always try to find great burgers everywhere i go. I saw this place and read some good reviews so i knew i had to give it a try. The menu looked great with a lot of options but the burger i had was just ok and the bun was especially terrible, it was too dry and fell apart after 2 bites. The price is very high and it doesn't even come with fries, i really think it wasn't worth it and i dont recommend it at all. It seemed to me that they really try to make food that would look good on Instagram instead of good quality burgers which is a shame. 80% of our Burgers are priced between $7 and $14 which is NOT expensive, it is about the same price as the Carls Jr Hamburger Chain or other restaurants in Jaco. Here are some FACTS for you.... We offer the Biggest Burger in Costa Rica, the Hottest Burger in Costa Rica, the Most Expensive Burger in Costa Rica, the Tallest Burger in Costa Rica, the Most Exotic Burger in Costa Rica and the Meatiest Burger in Costa Rica and one of the Largest Burger Ranges in Costa Rica with over 37 Different Burgers on our Menu. Great views of Hermosa beach break. Start off with a smoothie and then ceviche. Several of us had Casado lunch which does not disappoint. Excellent fish and even the kids enjoyed the food. Atmosphere was very chill and food came out rather fast. Parking always a struggle but can manage with help. We went over the weekend which was busy but not too overcrowded. Great place to watch surf !

We were staying at a friend's home nearby and had several chances to eat at Bowie's. First, if on a budget, I could live on the Gallo Pinto for breakfast. Also tried the Casado steak, again, generous servings. The fresh fruit drinks which are mixed and blended to order, with our without alcohol are refreshing. The staff is always friendly and eager to serve. The kitchen just needs to keep the queso for frying on hand. Missed it one morning they ran out. No problem, we'll come back, next visit.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge, and Iâm glad they did. I chose it because of the beachside location and reputation for good seafood. I had the seafood combination and my wife had the tenderloin with blue cheese sauce. Both were excellent and worth the price. Itâs not an inexpensive restaurant but all told, it was worth every penny and Iâd come back the next time Iâm in Jaco.
