Find out what Contemporary restaurants to try in Wroclaw. Surprisingly (except to Poles) pronounced VRAHTS-wahv, Wroclaw is Poland’s fourth-largest city and the capital of the Viovodship of Lower Silesia. Originally (in medieval times) built across several islands, the city still has many lovely bridges and beautiful architecture. Not far from the German border in the country’s southeast, Wroclaw gets lots of German tourists, who call it Breslau. The Rynek (central square), lined by colorful buildings, is one of the city’s most popular destinations.

We enjoyed our dishes at this restaurant very much. They were amazingly and beautifully presented. Our food was so creative and yet taste wonderful. Our Polish friends recommended this restaurant to us. They didn't have a English menu but they made one up just for us. We appreciated that very much. It is not at the city center but you can easily take the tram and get off at the last stop. It is pretty easy to find.

Pod Papugami is a cult meeting place for people looking for a unique atmosphere. It is great for couples on a romantic date, tourist, artists from galleries nearby and businessmen. What attracts all guests is the original interior design, the best coffee
Before we arrived we had tried to source an authentic Polish restaurant in the internet and after much debate we settled on Pod Papugame which is directly in the centre of Marketb â Rynek â Square. We booked a table here the evening before and asked for a window table that overlooked the Square. When we arrived and asked about the window table we were told it was taken â which I found very poor form for the restaurant and probably set the tone of the evening. Overall we were very disappointed with the whole experience. The food was very poor from the start, we shared a starter which was quite small. Our main courses were chicken breast and pork tenderloin and they were cold and the vegetables were too hard altogether. I did eat most of my Pork but my wife left most of her dinner after her and the waitress didnât bat an eyelid and I presume neither did the chef. We had two glasses of wine which cost around â¬6.5 each and the wine in general was quite expensive averaging at â¬30 per bottle.

Went there twice (lunch and dinner) and its indeed a great fine dining place. Dusks are indeed beautiful when you sit outside and watch the cathedral light up.We tried Salmon steak, duck breast and chicken supreme and they were delicious. The wine pairing is decent and service good.Go at dawn and watch the cathedral light up. Also enjoy the unique show of the light man walking around and lighiting up the gas street lights in his huge cape.https://www.tripadvisor.com.sg/ShowUserReviews-g274812-d13277566-r600607067-Lwia_Brama-Wroclaw_Lower_Silesia_Province_Southern_Poland.html#

The WrocÅawska restaurant serves regional and regional products. We are inspired by the kitchen of pre-war Wroclaw. We're recreating old dishes. We particularly recommend the pork chop - Wroclawska, Silesian Heaven, Hekele or dumplings in three flavors. O
We were recommended this restaurant by a few people and looking at reviews we admittedly had high expectations. The food was good. Not bad but not amazing. The menu was also missing a few dishes. The service was why we were unhappy. We had a member of our party who had dietary requirements. Our waitress said there is nothing to eat for her( member). Great help. No improvisations or a chat to the chef or cooks. The waitress only went to the chef when we said âAre you sureâ. If it was a joke, we all missed it. The second issue was when we finished our mains and wanted the desert menus our waitress said the kitchen is closed. Fair enough, however a warning of the closure would have been nice. We asked again nicely if we could have ice for the kids, ice cream. Nope kitchen is closed. We have eaten out alot around Wroclaw and Poland and this is a miss.

La Maddalena restaurant is a place created for the love of food and travel. The name of the restaurant is in a way symbolic. The beautiful La Maddalena archipelago lies on the Mediterranean Sea and is situated between Italian Sardinia and French Corsica.
All three of my courses were highly accomplished dishes - excellent flavour and texture combinations, beautifully presented. In London such a good meal would have cost at least twice as much (we paid 350 Zloty for two with wine and after-dinner drinks). I would try to get a table in the main part of the restaurant - the âroomâ behind is like a wide corridor. Service was too rapid - our starters arrived seconds after bread and there was a very brief pause between courses. One wants to linger over a meal of this quality.
