I worked today in Oceanside and hoteled it near John Wayne airport. I ate tonight in Tustin at the Winery Restaurant and Bar. It was great!!! I got there early due to me staying on East Coast time but it didn't matter. Noel, the bartender, talked to the culinary staff and talked them into serving me food about 70 early!!!! I loved it!!! I ordered the Calamari for an appetizer and there was so much!!!!! It was a meal in itself. I then ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was great too. The food was super-excellent. I also had a pinot noir and a New Zealand SB...but were very tasty. In the meantime my new server, Krystal, took over and did a heck of a job. She was so nice and personable and made the whole experience super duper...thanks Krystal!!!!! Try this place when in So Cal!!! It's the BEST!!!!!

We began with cocktails on the patio. (Get there early enough to get a seat out there, it's limited)The dinner begins with champagne and appetizers in the cellar surrounded by walls covered with a huge wine selection. We then continued to our table.(We had a large group of 13 and requested the table in the cellar, a real treat) The various courses were superb and served with a flourish. Our tenderloin was served precisely to our specifications. The dessert dish of several options was the crowning glory. We didn't have a spec of room for another bite, and loved every morsel.
