This was a family reunion of sorts with 8 people. $34 for a prime rib and one expects it to be good. Well, it was excellent. So were the short ribs, lamb, salmon, and bouillabaisse. The service was impressive and our waitress was friendly and attentive. We all walked out of the restaurant saying how wonderful the meal was. We will definitely be back.

Our group of 6 came for brunch, they accept reservations (which we didn't know). While outdoor seating was available for our size of the group, it must have been reserved for someone else. We got seated inside in the booth with long bench style chair.Ordered a variety of items, everyone was happy with what they got. Their scrambles are excellent. The eggs Benedict was really good as well. Large thick bacons, every entrée got a raspberry scone.Good service, reasonably priced. We enjoyed our breakfast.I'm so happy to hear how good your brunch experience was Samantha. Reservations for brunch are great for us and our guests--no more waiting in line for an hour! Just call ahead or make a reservation online and we will make sure we have a patio table for you next time. We'd love to see you again soon.Cheers!Chef Greg

Locally sourced and seasonally inspired cuisine served in an upscale and upbeat environment.
This was my first visit to Tavern on Kruse and it was an enjoyable one! First of all, there are not many tables on the non-bar side of the restaurant so I do suggest you make reservations. We had a party of 3 for lunch and I am glad that I reserved a table for us. The atmosphere and decor are both welcoming and modern. I thought the curtain separating the dining room was a nice touch. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and did not rush us, which I appreciated since we were celebrating a birthday. She made some great suggestions when we could not decide on which seasonal cocktail to have and what to have for lunch. My duck confit and arugula salad had fabulous flavor thanks to the tang of the lemon dill chevre and malt & apple vinaigrette which played well with the bitterness of the arugula. Our table shared a side of fried brussels sprouts and that was heavenly with the green goddess sauce! I will return soon to try the Happy Hour and dinner menus!
