We're great fans of its sibling, The Mill, so thought we'd check it out, and found it suffered by comparison.First off, it's EXTREMELY noisy and riddled with TVs, and unlike The Mill, there's no quiet seating area away from the (also noisy) bar area.Second, the menu is much more limited. We did find two things we liked, and they were delicious, but we would have preferred more options. It does have an interesting beer selection, but we're unlikely to return.Because of the noise.

My wife and I stopped in to this quaint little restaurant squeezed between two other buildings for lunch while we were searching for a good location to see the lighthouse there. Upon entering, there is an immediate dining section and a set of stairs which will lead you to the bar and a few more tables. On nice days, you can venture even higher and dine up on the roof to encounter a beautiful view of the surrounding area. In existence for a mere six months, the owners (Gary and Melinda) have managed to capture a Chef (Anthony) well versed in Caribbean cuisine. His performance in the does him honor to the many Chefs I have met along the way. He is truly a hidden talent that must be taken advantage of while youâre in Sleepy Hollow. The Hudson Anchorâs menu reflects mostly that of the neighborhood cuisine which, to this Chef, is fairly standard. Until you order. Chef Anthony does put his own healthy twist on your normal Cobb salad with Arugula as the standard greens. Very nice portions of avacado and lobster, to boot. Lardons to perfection. Paired with a white bean soup, it was a welcome meal on an otherwise cold day. Their fish taco was matched with a unique coleslaw that sparked my very opinionated tastebuds. In a wonderful manner. And then thereâs their Mussels and Chorizo in a saffron broth. And this, my foodie extraordinaire, is where you will excite your palette. Ask for the âGhost menuâ. It doesnât exist on paper. Nor is it written down. But it will cater to your exquisite reputation. They knock it up a few notches for you. Remember. Chef IS trained in Caribbean delights. And even adding a sparse amount of diced jalapeños to broth brings a scintillating breath of fresh air to an already tasteful delight. Would I venture there again? I mean, it IS an hours drive from my house... The answer is, I have already! Twice in just the last week. This little restaurant is a diamond in the rough that needs to be populated and embraced by both the community and the foodie looking for a culinary experience. If you dare. Because I never stated whether the âGhost Menuâ was a reflection of Chef Anthonyâs acuity in the use of chili peppers OR the reputation of the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow!

While staying at the Sheraton Tarrytown, we had breakfast every day at the hotel restaurant and dinner one time. The restaurant has a comfortable "club like" atmosphere. Since it is integrated with the bar, there are televised sports and news programs going on, but it's not obtrusive. I had the egg white frittata for breakfast, which was an accommodation to my healthy eating requirements. It was very well prepared. One night, we decided to have dinner at the hotel. All of the food was excellent. My wife at the steak and I had the delicious scallops, which were well presented and perfectly prepared. Service was attentive. Prices were a little on the high side. However, hotel restaurant prices can be outlandish; this was not the case with the SB&G.
