Spent a night in Rutherglen so we could visit Taste (and Campbellâs Wines). We ordered wine, my partner had the mushroom gnocchi (entree size) and I had pizza. Both were excellent. Gnocchi was perfectly cooked with lots of mushrooms and the pizza (from the brewery side of the venue) was one of the best Iâve had in a while - great crust, really fresh tomatoes and very good quality ingredients. Price was so reasonable I at first thought something was left off the bill.We were the first customers in on a Wednesday night but the restaurant was nearly full within the hour, mostly with locals. Restaurant team was obviously doing things right.Weâll definitely be back on out next trip to Rutherglen.Highly recommended.

Our first ever visit to Rutherglen and as we have enjoyed the delights of Bullerâs Muscat for many years, it was on the top of our list to visit their cellar door. We thoroughly enjoyed tasting their extensive wine range and especially their delectable Grand Muscat and Rare Muscatâs. Therefore we decided to stay and have the Chefâs Tasting Menu for lunch at Ripe. What can I say â sensational delicious food: Chestnut soup spiked with muscat, Berkshire pork belly, Confit Milawa Duck and Sticky Date Pudding, all enjoyed with a glass of Shiraz and finished off with a glass of Muscat of course. Amazing.

Thousand Pound Wine Bar and Store was developed by Denis Lucey (Bottega Melbourne) and the All Saints Estate siblings, Eliza, Angela and Nicholas Brown. It is a relaxed venue, with contemporary interior and bar seating which sets a new scene for Ruthergle
We could have been in an alley way in Sydney or Melbourne, but no we were in country Rutherglen. The style, ambience, service and food was "best city" at a country price and location. Excellent refreshing menu. The Wine menu was a mix of local and intriguing other reasonably priced.

Owner operated winery cafe in the heart of the Rutherglen wine region committed to regional produce, friendly service and great coffee.
Ordered the shared platter of antipasto and it was simply delicious. Presentation of the platter was mouthwatering and serving abundant, all washed down with a glass of local white wine. Service was professional and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
