In a nice tiny touristic port close to Livorno you taste an elegant fish meal prepared by chef Roberto De Franco. The restaurant is perfectly designed to please you and the food i perfectly prepared to drive you crazy. Fresh fish, ginger, pink grapefruit, paccheri and all he founds at the fresh market get in your dish in a mix of delicate flavor. It deserve a trip, 30 minutes driving from Livorno or Bolgheri.

We ate at Lido's on recommendation from our accommodation. The venue is great, beautiful views; the staff were very good and the head waiter who knew our Italian was not great was very helpful.The food was excellent; my main course (Seafood Banquet) was just that - a banquet!! Wines were very good and the bill at the end very reasonable for what we ate. Overall, an excellent restaurant.

I can highly recommend this restaurant. Located on the steps down to the sea, the service is superb and the waitress tried really hard despite the language barrier. â¬8 for a bottle of decent wine and the best seafood spaghetti i have eaten. Do give it a try for good decent food at a reasonable price.
