This was undoubtedly the culinary highlight of our week in Courmayeur. A very friendly atmosphere and very professionally rub. I had a starter of gnocchi with scallops - delicious. And a main course of fillet steak, beautifully cooked. House wine perfectly good and the whole evening cost c 50 Euros per head. 10 minutes walk from the town centre but well worth it!

The restaurant la Fordze keeps its historic name but changes management in December 2014, offering a radical change of food and atmosphere. The new managers, Marco and Elena are very happy to greet you just like you are at your own home. They would like y
Three of us went specifically for pizza but were left a little disappointed. Expecting the ultra thin & crispy bases weâve had elsewhere throughout Italy, these were more akin to those that you get in the UK and were quite doughy. We shared a mixed salad which was essentially different ingredients chopped and placed in a bowl, not mixed or dressed at all. The place was full of what seemed to be local people and was reasonably priced, and the prosecco we had was light & crisp, pity the pizzas werenât! Staff though were very friendly, would go back to try other items on the menu which sounded delicious.

We enjoyed the recommendation of local wine and foods from a very kind waitress who lavished attention on our young children. She brought them lots of freshly baked bread and recommended a great gelateria for later. We sat outside on a lovely patio and enjoyed our meal very much. The boar tagliatelle was amazing!

Albergo a tre stelle sulla via che dal centro di Courmayeur porta alle due vallate laterali. Sulla destra salendo.
Had an amazing comfortable stay at Alberto dei Camosci, extended my stay here as it was just the place for a weary hiker on the TMB trail. The adjoining restaurant serves an truely spectacular buffet breakfast & 4 course Italian dinner(all gluten free on request) that will leave you full for days. Excellent value for money.

Tipical mountain design with a little bit of modernity. The Chef, Roberto Villa recommends simple, well-thought dishes without ignoring the wholesome side of cooking. Therefore, with a thought towards healt with low sodium and with the lowest amount of fa
A snowy day was a good excuse for a tasty lunch, and we decided to try out this nicely decorated restaurant. Unfortunately the kitchen isn't up to the friendly and polite service and decorations. The Flan arrived limp and tasteless. The gnocchi, served with local cheese Blue d'Aoste, were obviously not home made, and anyway hard and tough. An average meal that does not match the price.Pity, hopefully the kitchen will improve with time.
