We had a goos local fish plates with my girlfriend and found out that one of the restaurant owners was also scuba diver - so we had a lot of fun! However, the atmosphere and service were a 10/10 from the start. A local cousine menu with wines from Pico island which was a nice experience.

"STAGE" where the fusion of flavours results in an unique show.
Food here was very good but the service slow. I had the squid and my wife had the chicken/mushroom Alfredo pasta. Both meals were very good. Nice views of the water. The Sangria on tap not so good...shouldâve known better Thank you so much for your opinion!

Place were you can eat fresh fish and other great food by the sea and listen to lounge and live music
It seems so promising as it has a prime position overlooking the beach but we found it impossible to avoid the smokers who inhabited the outdoor terrace and the sheltered glazed area...which left only the indoor part which had blaring TV and noise from the kitchens. Thus, it proved impossible to have a view and fresh air.Food was indifferent and the service was well-meaning

SINGULAR BISTRO is a fine cuisine restaurant under the direction of acclaimed Chef Nuno Barros from 1300 Taberna in Lisbon. The menu conjugates the traditional flavors and local quality products with a contemporary touch. Conveniently situated in the hear
We stumbled across this bar/bistro whilst wandering around Ponta Delgada. We sat outside but a peak inside showed it to have a fabulous Parisian feel. The outside area is large and was quiet late afternoon, a great spot to enjoy a cocktail in the sunshine. Compared to anywhere else we'd been during our 2 week tour of the islands this was by far the most expensive but a treat on our last night. There's a good selection of cocktails available - We had a cuba libre and the cocktail of the week (containing wasabi!) which came to â¬17 but was worth it

The latest restaurant in Ponta Delgada is in the neighborhood of Calheta "Pêro de Teive". Its warm colors and wood and iron finishes give a rustic look that resembles Grandma's house. Typical Azorean and Portuguese cuisine, with the personalization of our
Small, intimate with excellent food. The restaurant is located just out of the main city center, and definitely worth the walk. We had one bottle of wine, one bottle of water, one starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert and paid about 70 euros in two. Do make a reservation as it get filled up quite quickly.Thank you very much for your words and visit!

On Sunday itâs hard to find a restaurant in Ponta Delgada, looking on tripadvisor we stumbeled on Calcada do Cais. Not taking the risk we called to make a reservation. A good idea. The food was great. Risotto, pasta are the house specialty. But be carefull not to order to much, the portions are big. Make a reservation, the restaurant has space for about 30 people.

Loved this place, we went to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary and they could not have been more accommodating, giving us a table with a view of the harbour, wine recommendations and even a cake at the end of the night.Great place.

We chose Big21 based on Reviews. We were not Disappointed!! All of the food is expertly prepared and delicious. The Tuna was as others described, Amazing. The servers treat you like friends of the family. Our first visit (We visited twice) one person in our party chose steak, the server told him that it wasn't a good choice that night. But on our second visit we inquired, and we were assured that it would be good that night. And it was. Prices are very reasonable, and you won't leave hungry. I highly recommend Big21 and suggest that reservations. They always seem busy and full.

Friends booked this and we had no idea when we arrived that it was Japanese. Really Japanese "tapas" with an Azorean FlareWe ordered wine (Fitapreta white which was a perfect slight wine) and then dove in for the appetizers. We shared a family of five adults 5 appetizers and really could not decide which was best! I think we settled on the shrimp and the eggplant. Devoured with defensive eating! Off to the main courses and the whitefish was a big hit and the chicken Stir fry while sounding boring was perfectly prepared. Food was fresh and timely and wonderfulAmbience was open and airy and smallReservations are a mustDon't miss this150E for five with lots of drinks!

Opened in the summer of 2019, Chandelier Restaurant Bar invites you into a space where elegance and good service combine. Light meals at lunch and dinner with a Fine Dining concept, where only fresh and Azorean seasonal products are served, you can enjoy
You've spent couple days (weeks) on San Miguel and are overhelmed by it's natural unspoiled beauty and very fresh and and amazingly natural food. Natural, tasty and quite simple food. Looking for something more exsquisite? More like fine dining? More New York like stylish simple and elegant design? So, it's time to visite Chandelier! Not a big, but elegant menue (yes, with still perfectly azorean natural and omg yummy ingridients), pretty decent wine list (try whites from Pico island), very friendly and relaxingly professional service. My recommendation would be at least 2 dishes choice if you are not very hungry and 3 + dessert if you are. Portions are small as well as prices per dish are not high. A very, very refreshing fine dining experience after several days of tasty but simple food. The place still works in a test regime, format is closer to a gastro bar. Their entrecote is my tiny little sinful pleasure. Hermano made our visits warm, welcomed and interesting. Thank you, guys!
