My husband and I were staying at the other end of the island, but ventured to this area for one reason - this restaurant. And we're so glad we did! We had a leisurely dinner, enjoyed a conversation with the owner, and enjoyed our favorite date meal - fondue. Melt Away offered traditional cheese fondue to which you could add several different things (into the cheese itself) and had a wide variety of veggies, fruit, bread and meat to dip into the cheese. We also did the chocolate fondue, which was also good, but we hadn't left ourselves enough room to enjoy it all.Worth finding this place (it's inside a shopping center - you're probably not going to just stumble across it, and you definitely won't see it from the street). We taxied there and took the bus back to our hotel, so transportation was relatively inexpensive. There's nothing better than a fondue date - you take your time and enjoy one another because the cooking style demands it. Highly recommend - enjoy!Thank you for your review, it was a pleasure meeting both of you. We love to hear about our guests enjoying their visit at Melt Away. A Fondue date is really special and so glad that you experienced the 3 secrets..... Time, enjoying, and conversation this is a true dining experience. We found our favorite place to eat when we found Hadicurari! They have a sunset special, which was excellent. Glass of champagne, choice of salad or soup, main course (choice of filet minion or fish) and an ice cream sundae along with a fantastic sunset all while our feet were in the sand. The food was excellent. The service especially our waiter, Laurence was fantastic. All staff were extremely attentive. And I cannot forget the excellent bread along with the sambal that it is served with. The sunset along with the fabulous meal makes for a really great evening.Thank you for your positive TripAdvisor review and we are happy to learn that you had a pleasant experience with us. While waiting to be seated, for our reservation, we were seated at the bar and I ordered an Espresso Martini. Well, let me tell you... OMG it was THE BEST one I've every had and I was ordering these everywhere I went. Just had to post this on here!
