First time stop at the Palace bar area on Friday night. There is a small bar food menu - sandwiches, salads and a couple of entrees, generally range from $15-26. Only happy hour special is half off glasses of wine - nothing on beer? I ordered a Bourbon Barrell Ale for $8. We ordered jerk chicken tacos and creole shrimp. Tacos came out with 4 per order, they were smaller, there was a spicy red sauce on the tacos, the chicken was not particularly hot itself - it was $15 for these. The creole shrimp entrée had 8, size looked to be 26-30. There were a couple of fingerling potatoes and a couple pieces of pork to make a 'hash'. Wasn't much creole about it other than some Cajun seasoning - $26 for this. There was a half-price burger option which would have been a decent value. We went with a gift card, otherwise, would not have ordered what we did.

Stopped by here for a quick lunch with my teenage daughter and her three friends. The girls had fun picking from the large variety of unique tacos and enjoyed taking pictures with the painted walls in the background :) We were there on Taco Tuesday and enjoyed the chips/queso special (also got guac) and a couple of the girls chose the tacos that were on special too so that saved us some $$! The girls devoured the queso and said it was some of the best they'd had. I had the fried green tomato taco and it was to die for...amazing flavor. I was a bit disappointed that the Carolina Reaper salsa wasn't spicier...was bracing myself for the spiciest salsa I've ever had and to me it wasn't even spicy at all! Anyway, this place is great and I'm going to spread the word...epic tacos for sure. Thanks for the great review! We're so happy to hear you and your entire party had a great time! Come back and see us anytime! And thanks for spreading the word!

This tapas style restaurant and wine bar is one of the most popular in the Over The Rhine district. Our menu, with a variety of Mediterranean inspired dishes, is meant to be shared with the others at your table. You are sure to enjoy our wonderful mussel
We reserved a dining time two weeks ahead. This place is popular. For a good reason. The bar/restaurant is small and tables are tightly packed. This makes for plenty of opportunity for elbow rubbing with other patrons, at the bar, at your small dining table or at the larger common/community table. It is a place to socialize with friends and strangers. We enjoyed the friendly and attentive service. The small plates menu allow for a blend of tastes: seafood, meat, vegetarian. You mix and match. There is a nice variety of wine, cocktails and beer.We had a portion of delicious mussels.Busy and noisy are a distraction. Do not expect a quiet romantic experience here. Dive in socializing while enjoying tasty food.

Pathetic. Horrible and disgusting. There is seriously nothing positive I can say about this restaurant. The staff needs to be fired and this place closed. Whatever made this place highly rated has left the building.First; honor the reservations that your guests make. We take the trouble to show up on time; donât make us wait for 30 minutes to be seated. Second, donât make your poor planning the problem of your guests. Making 1 party wait longer so you can accommodate a later arriving and larger party shouldnât be my problem.Second, donât try to buy my good graces with free appetizers. I will happily pay my check in exchange for prompt seating, good service and good food. I donât need to be bought off for the restaurants failures.Third, the food was not simply bad. The Brussels sprouts were over cooked to the point of being inedible. The ricotta pancake was so overwhelmingly sweet that it boarded on gross. The frittata was bland and basically unseasoned; it came with a salad of overly salted greens that turned each bite into a salt bomb without adding anything to the overall dish. Do I need to go on? Cause I can. The blaring 80âs music was obnoxious and totally inappropriate for brunch. My advice is to go elsewhere. There are far better options than this mess.

Working microbrewery and scratch kitchen featuring German-American inspired cuisine. Located next to Great American Ball Park and minutes from Paul Brown Stadium, US Bank Arena, and Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati.
Large group served in the Hauck room. Nice views and nice and cool temp on steamy hot day. Service was very good. Nice selection of beer and wine. The menu is quite limited in my opinion for a place like this. I decided on the braised short ribs and they were only OK. Basically just tasted like some roast beef over potatoes. Asparagus was pretty good. Salmon for my friend was severely overcooked. She had asked for somewhat rare. Overall, though the food was pretty good. Just a couple misses on some things.

We went for a relatively casual evening - no other activity than a nice dinner planned. Restaurant is very pleasant with some lovely artwork. Our server(s) were well informed on wines as well as the dishes of the evening. After looking through the menu we decided upon the four course fixed with wine pairings. Each course was moderate in size - but more than adequate. Each dish was relatively "simple" in concept but very complex in actuality. Wonderful flavors and surprises. Wines were excellent - although the pour was a little scant. Service was very attentive and quick. I have a big issue with dirty dishes not being removed from the table in a timely manner - here they flew off the table as soon as they were emptied. The desert was quite charming - a trio of lovely little pastries beautifully constructed - for me, too much to eat so I had them for breakfast the next morning and they were scrumptous.
