We ate here several years ago and vowed we had to return and we got to fulfill our promise last week. The service was friendly but on point and the food was delicious and we did go through 4 bottles of wine for the 4 of us. We ate upstairs this time which has a different ambiance from the first floor but both are lovely. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and at home. A must stop for foodies.

Queequeg's offers an Eclectic American Cuisine using fresh seasonal ingredients. Join us for a romantic dinner in a fun Bistro setting with an intimate bar scene. Indoor & Outdoor dinning available.
We recently visited Nantucket for our Anniversary. We made a reservation (definitely recommended during the busy season). Queequeg's is located on a quiet side street. We had an outdoor table and the weather was perfect. We started with Lobster bisque (delicious) and beet salad which was also very good. I had shrimp scampi and my husband had duck. Both of our meals were delicious. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Service was very good and we did not feel rushed. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Pricing was competitive with area restaurants...we felt it was reasonable and the portions were generous. We enjoyed the meal very much. Good location to have quiet conversation during a busy season.

This is the type of pricey restaurant where you want everything to be perfect. The first small disappointment was the $49 peppercorn filet my husband ordered medium but it arrived medium well (almost no pink to be found in the meat) with hardly any flavor. It might be considered a good cut of meat but we wanted perfection and my husband was too hungry to complain about the over-cooked meat. However my $42 halibut tasted amazing. The second small disappointment was the port wine we ordered with our dessert. Listed on the menu for $15 but put on our bill at $16. The kind waiter explained he delivered an old dessert menu by accident. Again just missed the opportunity to make things perfect by offering to match the menu price we were given.Nantucket has so many phenomenal restaurants at high but not incredibly high pricing that itâs hard to justify spending the extra $10 a plate over everywhere else on the island. If everything had been perfect then I would be bragging about the setting and the incredible staff and saying I understand why itâs more money then other places but thatâs not my review due to only a couple of small disappointments.Dear Sulouwill,I'm so sorry to read your review..... You "small" disappointment are disappointing to read....My apologies about your husband's steak, I wish he would have said something so we could have grilled him another "perfect" steak as I agree that an overcooked steak is disappointing to say the least. Glad you loved your Halibut and I would love to brag about the incredible setting overlooking the Nantucket Harbor and seeing the boats/ferries come and go all day/evening.....I certainly hope you and your husband will give us another chance to show you our true BPG experience!! When returning, please reach out to me directly at [email protected] or via phone at 508.638.3417.... Cheers,Mark BronkeDirector of Food & BeverageWhite Elephant Hotel - Nantucket

This is the restaurant in the hotel where we stayed. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were the best pancakes I have ever had. Ate there again and had the biscuits and gravy (being from the south, I was very skeptical) but they were melt in your mouth good.

Wednesday night. 6:30 reservation. It is after Labor Day. Everybody is supposed to have left the Island. But......Can hardly find a parking spot! Inside, it is NOISY. The place is absolutely loaded. All tables full. It seems that everyone is sitting with half glasses of wine.....just sitting and waiting and waiting for their main courses. So I began to wonder if we made a mistake coming here. We didn't!!Huge menu. Huge wine and booze lists. My wife had two apps instead of a main course. Tuna Poke...superb. A funky potato dish--- 1000 layer duck fat potato with malt vinegar aioli! Now that was amazingly delicious!!! I had a really large caesar salad, considering it was a 'side' salad...and then the always reliable cod with lobster mashed potatoes.....excellent, but not as exciting or great as my wife's apps. $100 for two. Worth every nickel. Great waiter...and didn't have to wait very long for the main course. Don't miss this place! (Big parking lot behind it!)

Thank you Nantucket Island! Fog Island would like to announce its move to mid island, becoming the parent company to Keepers Restaurant. The two restaurants will be collaborating to join forces under one roof at 5 Amelia Drive. After 25 amazing years, Fog
We came for brunch. I had blueberry pancakes. My wife had oatmeal with fruit. Our friends had avocado toast, and French toast. Coffee was Nantucket coffee. Everything was excellent. Atmosphere is unrushed. Service is very nice. I prefer it to their old crowded location in town.

Oran Mor Bistro is located up a flight of copper stairs in an historic Nantucket home. The restaurant has an intimate bar and three dining rooms with attractive earth-toned decor that are a warm prelude to delicious, beautifully prepared food. The bar rad
Just an excellent experience from start to finish. Front of house was professional and charming, the reservation staff on the phone were pleasant and helpful. The house cocktails are a real treat - watching the staff light up as they explain the intricate way that the vodka is infused with local strawberries over six weeks was memorable. The ocotpus starter is very fresh and was a real treat. Overall, a super time - would thoroughly recommend.
