This has to be my favourite restaurant Iâve ever been to. From the moment we arrived the team were so attentive. The taster menu is excellent and even better with the paired wines. Everything blended so well together. Brilliant service, great tasting food and wine. Next time Iâm here Iâll be back. Fantastic

The restaurant is within the Cape Grace Hotel- an experience in itself- very beautiful and reflects the hotel with its sophistication, service and high quality food. Dinner was quiet- we were almost the only diners on a Monday in autumn/ winter but this did not mean that any corners were cut- service was attentive and food sublime. It gave me the opportunity to eat springbok- a new experience and my wife's chicken was perfect. Deserts were amazing! We both enjoyed the experience immensely and can recommend this restaurant for any special occasion

Excellent food..... I had the risotto and my husband had the sea bass dish- both were very tasty... We split the cheesecake dish for dessert- also delicious. The service was impeccable, as was the piano music and singing in the outer room. We had breakfast there as well... same excellent quality as the dinner. We are always on the look for a new & interesting breakfast venue.We were told about Si Cantina Sociale by some friends & decided to give it a go, situated in the Silo distric of Cape Town.As we walked in we were greated by this charming & smiling waiter called Elton, thank you.We were seated in a cubicle & placed our order, loved Elton's bantering.The coffee & food was great, this place will see us again, loved everything about this place including an incredibly beautiful huge mural.If you are ever in the Silo distric of Cape Town & looking for a great eatery, this is it.To the management and staff thank you for a great experience.Kind regardsFerdie Liebenberg Thank you for your kind words, Ferdie_Liebenberg! There is a variety to choose from the menu. I have been there for breakfast and a few times for lunch. Every time I was happy with the food - tasty and full of flavour. My personal favourites are the flatbreads - THE CHAMP and THE MED. The portion is very filling. What contributes to a pleasant eating experience is the calming environment that overlooks the lake. This is a proper world class restaurant the food experience starts in a dark room where you have a great beginning to your evening and as the waitress Louise promised it just kept getting better which considering how many courses there are seems impossible,I wonât describe the whole evening as that will spoil it if you are lucky enough to go.The chef owner Luke is at the helm working as hard as the rest of his brigade and occasionally having a minute for a chat ,Cape Town is lucky to have such a world class chef .The wine pairing actually worked very well which is rare these days and they arenât stingy with it either.Thank goodness for places like this and people like Luke pushing to make a great experience for us to enjoy.

We went here on Saturday the 5th September 2019, there were six in our group.From the moment we got out of the taxi, the place took our breathe away - WOW!The whole vicinity is absolutely stunning. The walk down to the restaurant via with a view into the barrels was a great touch.The food was excellent; every single dish that was presented to us came with its own introduction by a member of staff so we knew exactly what was on our plates.The service was all around was excellent. Our main host for the evening was Christopher, he went above and beyond.Overall, this place is a must visit when you are in Cape Town. I have very fond memories of this place and guarantee you will, too.
