What a great spot! The bar was so appealing that we popped in and found that, whilst much of the menu was dedicated to meat-eaters, we 3 vegetarians tried 4 vegetarian/vegan options and each one of them was absolutely divine, from vegetarian haggis on a bed of mashed minted peas to Japanese seaweed salad with tofu, asparagus with ajo blanco and a delicious Caprese salad. It was so good that we had to try 3 of the 4 desserts...all fabulous but especially impressed by the toast and marmalade flavoured icecream! All washed down with delicious eco wine. The ambience and service were great. Will definitely be back....Thanks Julia. Hasta pronto
Wonderful restaurant located on the beach. Fresh meat and fish daily and treated excellently by our select kitchen team. Our added value lies in the search for authentic and natural flavors, alternating traditional with modern dishes and always taking int

Just got back from our breathtaking meal this evening. Went for some paella after seeing some reviews on here, was a hundred times better than I could have imagined. A selection of starters including calamari and mussels followed by the most beautiful seafood paella, and then dessert! All in for â¬20 each and then we had some sangria too. Would recommend this place to anybody looking for seafood based dishes. Honestly we were both so amazed by this place! Love it and the staff are lovely too! Hope to be back!

Don't be put off by the â¬19/person set menu cost, this includes wine and some of the best food I have tried in any Malgrat restaurant. Don't worry about the Catalan menu either as they have Spanish ones inside (take a dictionary if you need one). I visited for a weekday lunch and the restaurant was about half full, mostly with groups of "older" people, so the atmosphere is relaxed and quite pleasant. My wife and I were served three very nice, quality courses with a decent bottle of wine. What really impressed me was the amount of homemade food there was, the chef has clearly put thought and effort into the dishes and it showed. After an excellent meal with wine and coffee we were charged just â¬38. As a UK resident, I found this outrageously good value for what I had been served.Based on my experience I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I look forward to going back the next time I am in Malgrat.
