Our restaurant is an institution since 1969 located in "le Vieux-Lille", renowned for its meat and the original menu based on play-on-words (in French, sorry...): Our cuisine is home made from our French fries until our scrumptious desert... Swing by if y
Visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a trip advisor review and have to agree it's a great little place. It's unassuming from the outside but don't let that put you off, the interior is stylish and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. The food cooked fresh to order and most importantly very good, portions are large especially the children's options, we were there with 4 kids ranging from 4-9 yrs and 2 dishes would have been enough. Prices very reasonable ,we paid â¬126 for 4 adults and 4 children including drinks and 3 dishes were very tasty steaks, would highly recommend the one with peppercorn sauce. We are delighted that you, your family and friends had a pleasant time among us and glad that "Le Goût De Foudre" was to your liking. Hope to see you all again in the near future. The Pubstore team

Chef Stephane Lefevre, master restaurateur, will take you through a journey of creativity and flavours... In the heart of Lambersart, Jean Marie Depoers welcomes you into an old 17th century barn. This old farm also features 2 private dinning rooms, perfe
Really interesting building (the best way I can describe it as a converted French Barn)but we found there was definitely a lack of atmosphere which surprised us.Very quiet indeed although plenty of diners.Food very good, service no more than reasonable.

I think that for the 1st time ever, I left something when eating in a Michelin-starred: the lobster feeling like chewing gum...and I could even comment of the uninspiring bread and an overall unimpressive freshness of the ingredients...why the 4 stars in the review and why La Laiterie deserves its star? You can see they try and can't write a bad review on a bad dish out of an overall menu' that tries to be original and well thought...the hollandaise with mint could be questionable but it's somehow refreshing, for example. Additionally the staff is attentive without being suffocating and the environment is relaxing & pleasant. Unlikely you'll leave a 5 star review unless your lobster is better than mine ;-) but you won't feel in a bad mood from La Laiterie.

Chez Octopus , vous découvrirez une cuisine moderne naturel accès sur la transformation de produit frais et locaux. Vous serez accueillis dans une salle aérée avec un service attentionnée et chaleureux .
We stumbled across Octopus after failing to get a table for lunch at the Sébastopol next door.We had walked from the Beaux-Arts museum which was around half a mile away on foot.We had the set lunch which was â¬28 each for three courses.Escargots to start, lieu noir (pollack) for main course and meringue for dessert. All were excellent with locally sourced vegetables accompanying the starter and main courses. We had a mackerel based amuse bouche prior to our starters and a pleasant bottle of house white wine to drink.Including coffee, we paid â¬40 each. A lovely meal with terrific, helpful service.

We enjoyed our evening in this small restaurant. English is spoken here and dishes are explained in detail if required. The beef came a little more cooked than we would have liked but the flavour was excellent so we weren't disappointed. There's a set menu option which we didn't really understand. We should have asked some questions about it as it wasn't clearly explained in the menu. If you are having a leisurely evening here and you're happy to have a range of tastes brought to you, I think it would be a good choice. Having said that, we made our own choices and enjoyed them all.

After a busy we headed here for cakes, lemonades, flat whites and hot chocolates and .... baby chinos. The place is an urban trendy coffee shop, staff are really friendly and sat us on a 10 seater table as there were 8 of us, including 2 kids. The place is busy but you donât feel overwhelmed as it is very spacious. I ordered and asked for 2 baby chinos , she didnât know what it was and asked another colleague who didnât know either then asked me what It was then said he would make it for me;I was very impressed byHis friendliness and eagerness to please. The cakes arrived and we tried each otherâs and they were delicious. All is made on the premiseWith a big kitchen area at the back. Very impressive service and friendly staffA great place
