Amazing Pizzas - simply the best we have eaten - anywhere in the world.I know this sound too good to be true and incredible in a small town in the South African Bush but how they pull it off is a tribute to their ingenuity. Thin, thin crispy pizzas cooked in their wood fire pizza oven have really creative toppings. Forget extensive choices - there are five or six on the menu but they will change ingredients to suit. Our favourites are the one with Gorgonzola, apple and smoked ham. The Asian beef version just oozes a deep flavour and delivers 'melt in the mouth' slow cooked beef. But you also have to accompany the pizzas with a 'Gin Cocktail'. By UK standards these are an absolute 'steal', price wise, but hold nothing back in their creative mixtures.Housed alongside their wine shop Safari Wines the tables are outside and set amongst pretty trees despite being just off the R40. Its well worth a stop if you are travelling. At the moment the last orders are 4pm I believe but they will also cater for takeaways. Perhaps we can persuade them to open a couple of nights a week! Thanks so much Zoe, a real complement from extensive world travellers like you guys! Weâre definitely looking into opening during the evenings too, weâll keep you posted ;)

Monya's Restaurant situated in the heart of Tzaneen is definitely the restaurant in town to celebrate any occasion or just come have a delicious meal or great quality coffee. We serve tasty food, our service is outstanding and the atmosphere here at Monya
I visited this beautiful establishment for Lunch and dinner on separate occasions, the restaurant is beautiful and elegant. The food is very tasty and you get what you've asked for (i.e medium/rare etc). They even have a protein shake on the menu which is awesome, BUT not enough people inside!!! tables are empty. I'm worried they might close, please try to advertise more. I'd hate to see another business close down in Tzaneen, your food and service is great. This place used to be called Yum Yum and they closed precisely for the same reason of being a well kept secret.Hi bongani, Thank you for visiting Monyas Restaurant. We are very happy to hear that youâve had a good experience. We would like to invite you back on another evening when there is more âhappeningâ Unfortunately in the hospitality industry there are some slower days but we are delighted to let you know that we are definitely not closing down.

Haenertsburg is a tiny town in the misty mountains of the Magoebaskloof. We recently spent a delightful couple of days there and Minki's Coffee Shop and Deli was a great find. They have a great breakfast menu and the stunning coffee is served in jug-sized mugs. We bought a packet of their ground beans to take with us on the rest of our holiday. We also bought some other bottled relishes and goodies they had on sale. We also visited in the afternoon and enjoyed their delicious carrot cake. This is definitely a place to visit if you find yourself in Haenertsburg,
