The service was superb starting with the welcoming champaign and ending with a special anniversary treat at the end. We opted for the 5-course chef option . Each plate was unique and very well prepared. Each was paired wuth a different wine of their choosing. Could not have been better.

A tribute to our ancestors, a return to our roots and a reflection off our culinary history from the First Nations to today. A place to meet and share around a table, to discover or rediscover our land, our forest, our river. A wonderful culinary story, i

From the very beginning I knew we were in for a treat when we sat down at Jean Samuelâs bar. My husband and I chose to forgo our reserved seats to sit at the bar because it typically offers a more intimate experience, and in this case we made the right call. Jean Samuelâs cocktails were on point, it was great fun to watch his genius at work. Each dish was better than the last and all so inventive and locally sourced. A fabulous overall experience, we will return!!Dear nmarieke,Thank you for these good words! We truly agree that sitting at the bar makes a complete different experience: that's why we made ours so confortable. Nevertheless, the room seats are as cosy!We are happy to hear that you've enjoyed all the plates and cocktails, for us, details are important and the flavors are worked out in everything we serve you. Food, wine, cocktails and sweets. Hope to see you soon!

Celebrated a graduation tonight at Laurie Raphael. Took 5 course menu ($155 p.p.) with sommelier wine pairing ($80 p.p.). Food was fantastic! Price tag is high but the experience is worth it. I was disappointed with the wine service. The selection of wines was perfect for each dish but...when I expressed a doubt on one red wine, suggesting it might be corked, the server challenged my taste. She had me compare two bottles of the same wine. Unusual, but who knows, maybe my taste buds were tired. Well, a quick sniff convinced me more than ever that the bottle was corked. No need to taste. I confidently returned the two glasses and asked the server to smell them herself. She smelled them both and started giving me a chemistry lesson to explain that it wasnât corked. Enough with that, i asked for an alternative selection which I got. In addition to the cork story, I was further disappointed to learn that there was no wine pairing with the cheese plate. This really surprised me. No wine with the cheese. Now one would expect that our glasses would at least be refilled with the wine from the previous service, but no. No more wine. We had 3 empty wine glasses on the table while we ate our cheese. Not the end of the world but disappointing. Bottom line, the food is great but you might get more value managing the wine yourself. Enjoy!Bonjour,We are glad that you enjoyed the food, wine selection and the global experience at Laurie Raphaël.We sincerely thank you for your helpful feedback regarding the wine service, we will go over your comments with our team.Regards,Laurie Raphaëlâs team

A modern bistro that has a philosophy of the ''farm to table'' movement by using local ingredients in a modern setting. We have a nice wine list that carries private importation and our own microbrewery beers.
This bistro was very busy and pleasant on a Monday at lunch. The service was professional and courteous. They had a varied lunch menu and we loved everything we ordered. A place to return for sure!Thank you very much! Hope to see you in the near future!
