Big Easy Wine Bar and Grill, is a place to relax, meet friends and enjoy some of lifeâs extravagances. The Wine Bar, offers an expansive selection of South African premier wines along with fine whiskies, craft beers and some of the worldâs choicest cigars
We enyoyed this place. PArt of the Hilton hotel, it is a bar and grill. The wine and food is expensive for Durban, but cheap by UK standards. The wine is based on Ernie Els' winery. We had a great burger, and good cocktails. The staff were friendly and cheerful. Perhaps lacking local flavour - no venison, for example - but a nice warm safe place to beDear Shawnh552Thank you for swinging by the Big Easy! We are delighted to hear that you had a brilliant round with us! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back to our fairways in the near future. Kind RegardsScott

Really enjoyed sitting outside on such a beautiful day,, our service was good and brunch was good. In my opinion, just very overpriced, farmhouse breakfast R105 and the eggs were not medium as requested and damaged eggs. But I suppose it is what you pay for because of the venue. Very unfortunate experience that although there were at least 5 street car guards andnobody said anything on our parking, when we got back to our car that was parked in the street along with many others as the little parking area were full we had an R500 parking fine on our windscreen. Nice experience but wont go back again.

Went to PARC. as advertised on trip advisor as Gluten free options. Beautiful menu BUT NO GLUTEN FREE OTIONS. You can eat salads but if u want a wrap or open sarmie you out of luck. I opted for the sugarbean curry and poached eggs and it was stunning. Worth a visit even if not advertised correctly Dear 335leannecIf you could point out exactly where on Tripadvisor you spotted the gluten free information we can address it? Parc has never offered/stocked gluten free bread and we manage our own advertising. Please respond here or email us on [email protected]. We are delighted that you enjoyed your meal and we hope you will visit again soon!Warm regardsThe PARC Team

Upmarket venue for that special dinner, tasteful decor with well trained waitrons. Suggest that reservation is made as I have been there on week nights and always well supported.
Lovely ambiance, sitting upstairs on the balcony on a balmy spring evening. We had fantastic salads to start, and my wife's main course of seared tuna was delicious. Unfortunately my 400g rump was most disappointing. It was as if it had been cooked on a coldish grill. It was a bit grey and tough, not the seared outside and pink and juicy inside one expects. I ordered a pepper sauce which helped somewhat. This was a pity because overall the evening was great !

My review Service = slowFood waiting time = Well above averagePrice = well above averageChicken pesto open sandwich had pickled ginger or radish on it. Very wierd taste profileMinced bacon pizza had cheap bacon finely chopped on it. The base was very chewy indicating that the dough is overproved. Not how a pizza should be made. Now for the worst. The seafood pizza. It had a sugary tomatoe base with either orange marmalade or lemon marmalade on it with battered onion rings, how the onion rings are supposed to add any flavour or what its meant to add to the pizza only the chef knows. Also the base although well cooked was also very chewy. I feel that the chef is trying to turn what used to be a good coffee shop into something over pretentious. Adding herbs and flavours that make dishes to complicated, or am I missing the point?Hi Janet,We've already replied to your review on Google Business, followed up on your experience, found your receipt, discussed it among our staff and found that other than the fact our waitress who served you said you ate almost everything, made no comments whatsoever about the service / food or beverages to her or either of the two managers on the floor at the time of your visit, and according to her you gave no indication of a negative experience at the time. You paid your bill, you gave her a lovely gratuity and left under what we saw as a content customer - which is our primary focus and aim!Yet you have gone out of your way to publicly expose us as a 1 Star, poorly managed and pretentious establishment. We have been humbly serving the local community for over 4 years now, our service and attention to detail have on most occasions been well reviewed and appreciated - something I personally strive for with my staff each and every day!My concern with your review is that you never once made a comment / asked for assistance, or brought your experience to the attention of one of our managers, who would've jumped immediately in to make amends on what, according to you was an absolute disastrous experience! Now, we implore you once again as we did on your Google Review to please contact us via email at [email protected] so that we can communicate directly and personally to try understand and come to an amicable solution from your experience.Yours sincerly,
