I picked out this restaurant from Trip Advisor as somewhere good to eat (for my wife and I) prior to the Champions League football fixture between CSKA and Man City in Khimki.The reviews were good, but we were still surprised by how good this restaurant was. We had a fantastic meal in a wonderful ambience, sat next to a log fire. The food and wine were delicious. The previous night we had eaten in one of the top Moscow restaurants (Cafe Pushkin), and we enjoyed this meal just as much.It's certainly not cheap here - we paid about 6700 roubles for two with wine - but it's worth it. For me, this restaurant is in the Champions League!

The restaurant is a bit hidden in a park off Leningradskoye Sh, but it's definitely a place worth visiting. The restaurant has nice atmosphere, and with the park around no cars bothering you. The restaurant also has a separate, large bar room and a room with multiple billiard tables. The main part of the restaurant is on a veranda, with flexible windows that can be opened (or closed when too cold). Now to the main part - the food. This was also very good, each dish nicely presented and tasty and finally it was possible to get some adjustments to the food during ordering (e.g. strawberries with sour cream). I highly recommend to come here in summer.

Apart from the noise outside in the shopping centre, the venue and the ambience are very chilled and relaxed.The staff should be more confirmatory in their transactions - do you have a reservation ? is the wine to your satisfaction ? did you want the avocado or the rucola ? may I take your plate ? Other issues included, bringing the next course before the previous one has been cleared... starting to clear the 3rd and 4th place settings in the middle of our meal... confusing ice-cream and sorbet... and someone having shisha just 10m away ?!! It should be very clear that management are responsible for all of the faults identified above... As well charging for lime in the sparkling waterHaving said that, they are very polite, the food is good and it is very cheap.Nevertheless, I can recommend the hachipuri, plov and baklava.
