Reviews on Contemporary food in Isle of Arran, Scotland, United Kingdom. Packed to the gills with antique silver, porcelain and furniture, the red sandstone Brodick Castle is one of the highlights of the Isle of Arran. The castle overlooks Goatfell, a majestic hill that’s a popular day hike. The Machrie Moor stone circles make for a mystical field trip, as does a tour of The Arran Malt whisky distillery.

Met up with a crowd of friends and decided to eat here so we could revisit the weekend disco, and we weren't disappointed! The menu was standard pub fare, but it was all tasty, fresh made and the portions were massive...I had fish and chips and only managed half the fish. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the prices were very affordable. The disco was great....we relived our youth with a vengeance!! We'll be back again.
Our party of four for an evening meal were not disappointed by this great restaurant along Shore Road in Lamlash. Friendly and attentive service with a good menu choice, and well-presented (and well cooked) food.We all chose the lamb (two had the tagine-type with couscous, the others opted for it plain with traditional seasonal vegetables) -everybody happy !Nice to have a restaurant of this quality in Lamlash.Let's face it,Lamlash isn't noted for its haute cuisine, so this is a bit exceptional.
