Delicious and price-friendly menu. Ask for paella and the cod fish with asparagus creme. The place is full of locals. Highly recommended.

En un entorno bucólico. Varios ambientes, gran salón, comedor, bar, terrazas. Cocina tradicional vasca y parrilla.
Happened across this simple cantina on a day's drive through Basque Spain - a basic menu of tapas and several delicious looking tortillas on display. Drank local wine, ate croquettes of jam and salt cod, the carnivore among us loved the slices of gelatinous pigs trotters and I adored the flash-fried tiny squid. The baccalau tortilla topped with fried green peppers was the pick though! The helpful waitress spoke enough English to make up for our complete lack of Spanish and really worked at making sure we understood each other and got what we wanted. Highly recommended!

Seafood is the gastronomic speciality of our restaurant along with all kinds of fish (sole, sea bream, turbot, halibut, kokotxas...) and varied meats. As well as seasonal products: squid frieds with onions, mushrooms prepared in the oven or fresh vegetabl
The restaurant La Zeria is small and very cosy. We received a very friendly welcome, enjoyed a delicious ensalada de pedriz (partridge salad), merluza de la plancha (grilled pike), txangurro al horno (crab from the oven) and with it we had a glass of wine from the Basque Country called Txakoli. It was absolutely worth it! I recommend that yoo look for the tiny chalet like restaurant!Hi Petra PThank you for your opinion, we are very happy to have received you in our restaurant and enjoy our gastronomy. We hope to see you more by our house.A greeting

Thanks to TripAdvisor we researched the town before going picked this restaurant and booked.Ok so bad points, it's small I would say 30 covers and it's bar stools at the table. This is totally outweighed by the good points. The staff were great, not fluent English, but enough to explain the dishes and recommend wines etc.The food is very well presented and the flavours are fantastic. Portion size depends on the dish, some are huge some are quite small and you can't tell from the price so ask the great staff. The chef /owner has a great talent and passion for the food and came out to speak to each table during the night to see what we thought.Lastly the price, we were a large group and had lots of wine and great food in what can only be described as a modern restaurant with classical roots, I would say as good as some of the best I have eaten in all for less than â¬35 each.
