The Highworth Hotel and Restaurant is under new ownership as from April 2016, with new management and great new chef. We offer good quality home-cooked food, using local produce where possible, at affordable prices. Combine this with a relaxed, yet stylis
Weâve visited here twice for Sunday lunch in recent months. Both times the food and staff were good. The first time service was a bit slow, but it wasnât the end of the world as we werenât in a rush, and the second time everything came promptly. The staff on both occasions were really genuine and friendly, and were patient and courteous when dealing with the more elderly guests. Sunday roasts cost £15 for two courses, or £18 for three, and there was a good selection: pork, beef or chicken, plus fish and veggie options. The pork was excellent and the beef, although more well done than we would usually have, was also tasty. Weâll certainly return next time weâre visiting Highworth, although weâll perhaps not run the gauntlet of driving our car through the really narrow passageway from the street to the car park at the rear!Thank you ever so much for your review. It means a lot to us that you took the time and trouble to spread the word. We hope to see you again soon. Warm regards, Linda

We're a traditional British pub with a fresh and contemporary menu.
We arrived for the Jazz night that had been advertised. There was a lovely atmosphere and an excellent trio playing. We soon wished that we had waited to eat here. The food going past our table looked wonderful. A good musical evening in front of a blazing log fire.

Only one night here and wished it was longer. Really comfortable large first floor room. Very quiet, beautiful country outlook and great continental (by choice) breakfast. Wished weâd had the time for dinner here. Very friendly staff. Great location. If weâre ever in the region again, a must stay.
