We had booked a table for 7:45 for two people on a Friday, we arrived early and table wasnât ready yet so we had a drink of wine at a table in the bar area. It is a bubbly and vibrant bar area and once we finished the bottle of wine we went to the host for our table. We were five minutes late and it was not a problem. The service was quick and friendly for the drinks and food order. Only downside of the menu is the lack of vegetarian options in my option for my friend (actually pescatarian but dabbles at being a vegan)The simple addition of the halloumi and mushroom burger that is available on a Burger-night would be a great addition to the standard menu, also maybe making it clear on the menus that salads can be made vegetarian and maybe with addition of certain veg alternative (seasonal maybe?) Cajun Chicken was my order and was fantastic, I loved the Mediterranean Vegetables side. Pinot Blush was a lovely wine as well, we had a few bottles! Our server was fantastic and she heard our little suggestion of the vegetarian and vegan menu choices, she was the one that advised they did a burger night! (We will come for that!) All in all lovely food, great service, vibrant ambience making a much needed friends catch up delightful. Thanks Tummies

Had dinner here on steak night. Iâm not sure if I got this wrong but the price was 42.5£ for 2 but the bill became 98£. I paid but then realised this offer was each and not for 2? Not sure how. Overall we only had the steak and chips with some beetroot and side greens so not sure how this price was reached. But paid up as the jet lag was kicking in. Overall the steak was nice and the beets tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and try hard. The service can be a little slow but overall the environment is very nice and as was the case with my partner and I we had just landed at Heathrow and wanted to get a good meal. Iâd recommend but check prices on any offers for â2â. Dear jobob10, Thank you for your recent review of dinner at 1269 and sharing your feedback about the bill. Please rest assured as we take this very seriously and have investigated on our end. We reviewed each and every bill for that night to check if there were any double postings and can confirm that none of them did. I managed to locate your bill for that night and it does have only one price of steak night at £42.50 however there were additional sides and drinks on the bill which you may have bought in the bar and then during your meal. I am pleased that you found the staff extremely friendly. The team will be delighted with your feedback. If there is anything I can assist with please do not hesitate to get in touch on [email protected] Wishing you a fantastic year ahead. Kind regardsShankhanil

Three pals of mine took me out for my birthday to this venue. They had kindly organised a 'cocktail masterclass' and dinner after.Straight away Danny the bartender was friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. For me he made the evening. I learnt a lot at his masterclass about cocktails and how to mix them. He's only 19, but boy has he got charm and pizzazz!! it was a fabulous experience and made a wonderful and unique birthday gift from my friends. The dinner too was good. I had the burger which was really nice, followed by the raspberry cake which was as delicious as my main course. The others had different dishes, but all pronounced their meal to be excellent. For me this is the ideal venue for a lighthearted fun evening with mates. It's more a bar with meals, so the bar element is absolutely superb.I would definitely return to this venue, and hopefully again with a bunch of girlfriends!HI Mickigirl1310, thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm so happy to hear you had a great time with us and we look forward to your next visit. Iâll make sure dan gets all your feedback, all the best, Russ

Honestly awful. They have no idea what they're doing with allergens, which means they're taking a huge risk in making people ill.The manager admitted to me that neither the food on the Vegan Menu or Gluten free menu was entirely Vegan or Gluten free due to contamination, so when I asked him why on earth they were advertising them as that, he first said it was for people that were "Vegans for the fun of it" and then said "Gluten free for the fun of it". I quickly reminded him that there is nothing "fun" about being Gluten Free.. specially as most people are gluten free due to Celiac Disease or an intolerance. As someone who is also intolerant to egg and dairy, I was excited to find out that this restaurant had both a gluten free and vegan menu, however the fact they take neither of these issues seriously is absolutely disgusting and I would urge anyone who is a sufferer of those not to visit the restaurant. On a more positive note, I was aware that the manager was trying to do his best to help us, and of course did not write the menu himself, or have control over it, but more needs to be put in place to prevent an awful allergen incident happening.
