Dined at Julia on a Friday evening in January when the restaurant was reasonably full for off-season. The Flemish menu was well-described to us German and English speaking folks. I would describe the meals as "hearty" - certainly more than a couple of retired seniors like us could eat. Service was decent. From appertifs to espressos (yes, they have decaf), we were there about 3 hours. Clearly a great choice if you are hungry!

we went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. My wife had fish, which was excellent. I fancied the hamburger on the menu and this was a bad idea. The burger was nearly raw, the bread and the potatoes had a strange taste. I should have informed the waiter who was very friendly, but I didn't... my fault.

We arrived late but were received with open arms by the owner and his friendly staff.We ordered cod and the preparation was superb:Flakey and tender on al dente pasta. I wish I knew his trick to consistently make this so good.Definitely recommend this place.
