We came across this restaurant quite by accident, filling in time waiting for the circus festival to begin. Sunday lunch for 3, fixed menu. Fantastic food, worth paying a Sunday/Festival premium for. It looks quite small and uninspiring from the outside, but is actually very airy and comfortable. Staff very pleasant and extremely helpful and with a good level of English. Will definitely return if in the town again.

We have been frequenting this restaurant for 20 years. We are not what might be described as âregularsâ but if we are near the area, we try to arrange a visit. They must get thousands of customers passing through, this time itâs been three years since we last visited, and still the owners remember you. The service and attention to detail is first class and the quality and presentation of the food is second to none......... and all at an incredibly reasonable price. We love it here, and hope to continue to visit, when we can, for many years to come. Try the pigs cheeks with raisins, fig and apricot and the house wine is superb

At Ca lâamic of Lloret you will find at the same time a quick and slow food kitchen ..., contemporary and traditional cuisine in a single dish ... A menu that is a tasting that changes depending on the season and the products available on the market ...
We came here to eat on one night but were unable to so booked a reservation for the following night at the cost of 5 euros (this is refunded when you pay the bill) The waitress was brilliant- she was efficient, thoughtful and even poured our beers and plated our mains for us tableside. We had monkfish and prawns and it was amazing. Rice was cooked beautifully and seasoned well. Tomatoes and red peppers reduced down into a tasty sauce and seasoned well. Monkfish cooked to perfection!! Finished off with a cheesecake to share! The best part for us was the chef actually came out to speak with the diners which was so intimate and thoughtful - he really seems to have a passion for what he does. He spoke to each table individually speaking Spanish, French and English from what I saw. If you enjoy decent food you literally have got to go here!! The price of our meal was less than 40 euro incl mains dessert and 2 drinks which is great value considering the high quality of cooking. I'm a dietitian so was pleasantly surprised that they do a variety of gluten free dishes and have clear allergen listing on menus as this can often be a worry for people with allergies when dining out Great experience !!

Located in a small town of Pals, but with this quality wouldn't be out of place anywhere. We had lunch menu and it was delicious and very carefully presented, starting from 9 plump olives stuffed with anchovis served in a neat grid on a white plate. The lunch menu was a selection of small dishes, and all of them were delicious - the brioche with sobrassada, mmm... The wines were very good as well (we asked for a white and it was great, mineral and full-bodied, served in just the right temperature for this warm day). We asked for a quick service as we were in a hurry, and they orchestrated the whole meal so perfectly that we were able to leave exactly on time. Altogether, a great experience and to me this place deserves a star (you know which one!), considering the combination of service, food, wines and comfortable setting.

After visiting last year with my sister I returned this year with my husband so he could enjoy too. This is a really different experience with the most delicious food. We had a 16 course taster menu and enjoyed all but one course. We spent 3 hours trying dishes that were so tasty, beautiful to look at and unusual. The lady serving us was as lovely and informative as last year and a real pleasure. Well worth a visit.

Locals and tourists mix together to enjoy a slightly modern twist on Spanish classics at reasonable prices - only complaint were the mosquitos! Maybe some lemon-eucalypus candles to keep them mozzies at bay?

It is a cozy place where every detail is taken care of, both in the dining room and in its exquisite kitchen.
I always think that being surprised for dinner is always the best thing. The food combinations and tastes, especially the starters were really interesting. Foie gras mousse, shrimpcarpaccio with thai touch, it was all delicious. We had a large table upstairs which was really fun and entertaining with lots of things on the wall. Critisism: the portions- especially mains were too large, and too expensive. A tasting menu of 60 euros is stretching it. Where the starters excelled, the mains were not that special and too large. It was a fun evening but we wouldn't especially return again, it wasnt special enough. But service was lovely and with a special touch, also for the children with a welcome drink.

Welcome to Cala Nena , a new concept of cold kitchen with top quality fisch cans, seasoned with sauces home made, great "embutido" with our super tipical bread with tomatoe and daily specials depending on market and season !! Do not miss it!
Very nice located in charming little town, full of restaurants. The chef receives the guests and we recommend to follow his suggestions for the âcompartirâ menu. Nice smaller and bigger portions to share. Ours were all very tasteful. A little bit more expensive but certainly worthwhile.

Home made Tapas Bar on seafront, chill out, cocktails and lounge music. Modern style terrasse with panoramic view from the Roses Golf to the Escala beach.
We first saw El Patio walking back from the old town on the front and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food and service from start to finish was flawless. Lovely, friendly service and the food was oh wow beautiful! We normally have 6/7 tapas dishes between two. The sangria is amazing, definitely worth a glass or two! It is by far bistro standard. Keep it up El Patio, we will return.
