My friends and I visited Lo Zero for a dinner in our first night in Tuscany. It was an unexpected fine dining experience. The chef makes everything by hand: the bread, the pasta. Everything was fresh, local, and delicious. Really a great experience. We went with a baby, so we had to head out at 11pm (after 3 hours) so we missed out on their dessert and grappa, but I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a reasonably priced dining experience with fresh local food. The staff was welcoming and sweet; I will definitely make a point to come back here next time Iâm in Tuscany.

If youâre looking for an *authentic* experience, Iâd highly recommend this place. Their Menu ranges between various kinds of food, the ingredients of which are locally sourced (and one can agree that the Tuscan soil truly does wonders to food), and which incorporate various elements of traditional Tuscan, and overall Italian recipes, mixed with the outstanding creativity of the Chef. The wine is fantastic, the location is jaw-dropping (romantic + scenic), and the food is DEFINITELY worth its price and more. The service is kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. Visited with friends , small but very nice outdoor dining area with amazing view on the surrounding hills.Good rustic Tuscan dishes , worth mentioning the panzerotti ( kind of cannelloni filled with ham, sausage and cheese) and the home made pasta with duck sauce.Disappointing cheese cake Will come back to try the meat courses !Loris the maitre is indeed a great addition to the value of the service.Great place for tourists but maybe not the kind of food locals would enjoy.Dear tuscanymichele,We are very happy to have met your expectations. Tonight we had a very good diner at this restaurant. We were here with friends and had a realy good time. The restaurant is a family business. The owners have passion for food, wine and hospitality. When you are nearby, you should definitly go there. Up until now it's the best food we had in Tuscany.
