I was on a weekend away and wanted to try out Bristol for food and cocktails. Dinner for 1 and Wilks made my night incredible. Service, atmosphere, and recommendations were top notch. I asked for the sommelierâs choice for wine pairings and it was perfect each time. Dinner was timed well, was not rushed, and served with an artistic flair. The restaurant is overly quite (could use a bit of white noise or music to support the mood), but this didnât take away from the quality of food. I started with the lobster salad. I will spend my life trying to find it again.

I have been to Pinkmans multiple times and am always amazed by the quality of their food. The doughnuts are delicious and extremely well filled, with a changing seasonal flavour. The bread is well baked and tasty, and the sandwiches and dips (The beetroot hummus and olive tapenade were to die for) we had were uniquely flavoured and, in places, different to the usual high street food. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, and, whilst at times the inside can get a little packed, the interior is well designed and compliments the food. Would highly recommend.
