Popped in after a bit of shopping for a snack, nice range of sandwiches on offer and some local ales! Palmer Copper was there, so a no brainier. My wife had a cheese and pickle, and I had the Croque Monsieur (cheese & ham toastie). Both excellent! Nice atmosphere too!

Sladers Yard's warm, friendly licensed cafe is open every day serving fresh, locally produced, home-cooked food and drinks. Escape to a haven of calm to enjoy a lovely lunch, really great coffee, tea and a slice of cake whilst being immersed in work by ex
Have had this on the âto tryâ list for a while and finally got around to it. Inside is quite compact so it might get busy, but we found a seat easy enough. Food was piping hot, fresh and tasty. Sampled some of the gluten free cake while on-site and also got a few for the family at home. The cakes were great. Only disappointment was a takeaway âcinnamon bunâ that was sadly a bit too dry. Overall, everything else was so good that Iâm not going to lose a point over it. Recommended. Thanks so much for your lovely review. All our food is made fresh here. My colleagues say the cinnamon bun you mention was an experiment in vegan cinnamon scones which they have taken off now as they were a bit dry. I am sorry you had it as a takeaway or we could have replaced it there and then. I am glad the other cakes and lunch made up for it. Hope to see you again.

My partner had the sweet potato tartar which she thoroughly enjoyed. I requested the chicken wing starter with a portion of chips served with our mains. Unfortunatelyly my friend ended up paying for a âdoubleâ portion of wings which I hadnât requested. I felt this was âsharpâ practice.Thank you for your review. I am very pleased that you enjoyed the food at the BA.I think what may have happened is the waiter thought that you wanted to double up the chicken wings to make it a main course size. This is a training issue on our side and I will endeavour to make sure that this doesn't happen again through better communication on our part.I do hope that you come and see us again soon.
