Visited The Lamp on Friday evening (14th June 2019). This was our second visit as we discovered this fantastic restaurant the evening before and just had to go back before a second evening which was the last evening of our holiday. The hosts and staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The service was superb and the food just fantastic. This time we had the duck and the belly pork followed by the white chocolate blondie and Yorkshire cheese board. The evening before we had the scallops and black pudding, fillet steak and the lamb followed by the white chocolate blondie and pear and raspberry frangipani. All of the food was truly amazing and the lamb is the best I have ever eaten. It was completed by the superb Leffe Blonde beer on draught. We highly recommend you visit this superb restaurant as soon as you can or when you are visiting Bridlington. Thank you to the chef, waitress and host.

We are the Wish Cat Cafe which was The Rowan Tree for many years. We specialise in gluten free freshly prepared food served on lovely pretty china in our delightfully pretty and quirky cafe with a fabulous secret garden courtyard for those lazy brunches o
Called for dinner I ordered flan (very small)with salad my two grandchildren had sausage and Smash a can of tango each and I had a cup of tea.The price charge was £23 50,Would not have minded the price if the food was worth it.Bad experienceYes I remember you well as you were the last people to arrive .You ordered two sausage and mashAnd the quiche.I can tell by your description that what you expected and what you got where two entirely different things.I'll start with the sausage and mash ...The sausages were butchers quality ones and the mash was proper hand made mash from real potatoes , not SMASH , the gravy was real gravy not out of a package. The quiche was home made too using expensive gluten free pastry fresh onions and mature cheddar cheese with free range eggs.not a slab of shop bought flan as you obviously assumed. The price of this was all well displayed on our menuAnd you had ample time to check that and ask any questions while the meal was been preparedYou also forgot to mention that I reduced your bill down to £20 . Not that I felt that I needed to but because you were with me at the end of a very long day.

Apollo is a pub, restaurant and bar with a difference. Sitting on the harbor with spectacular views from our outdoor terrace, good local food is freshly prepared daily by dedicated chefs, including a comprehensive menu packed with great deals. A wide sele
Having strolled around Brid, for a few hours, we came across the Apollo at the end of our walk.Good harbour view- food solid and good value. Was shocked to be told we were looking at a 45 minute wait. In normal circumstances we would have left, but as on hols we were not in rush unlike some others, who left immediately. Unlucky for them, my teenagers were happy to play pool( more chalk required) and enjoy their pitcher of monster passion. I recommend it- great fun. Our only complaint would be that tables, are not cleared quickly enough this is not conducive for getting people to come in, as glasses piled up on tables is not enticing at all.
