Had dinner here on steak night. Iâm not sure if I got this wrong but the price was 42.5£ for 2 but the bill became 98£. I paid but then realised this offer was each and not for 2? Not sure how. Overall we only had the steak and chips with some beetroot and side greens so not sure how this price was reached. But paid up as the jet lag was kicking in. Overall the steak was nice and the beets tasty. The staff are extremely friendly and try hard. The service can be a little slow but overall the environment is very nice and as was the case with my partner and I we had just landed at Heathrow and wanted to get a good meal. I managed to locate your bill for that night and it does have only one price of steak night at £42.50 however there were additional sides and drinks on the bill which you may have bought in the bar and then during your meal. Relatively new restaurant which we have not tried before. Decor fresh, modern and attractive, beautifully decorated and furnished. Menu very tempting. Staff very attentive but we were not rushed. Food superb and attractively presented. Lamb was very tender and jus rich and delicious. Before dinner drinks reasonably priced, wine with meal was perfect, and fresh water provided. Dessert (rhubarb and apple crumble) was light and fruity and not too sweet topped with a crunchy crumble. This restaurant deserves more patronage as it is definitely a place to try. They cater well for children too.Thank you very much for taking the time to write us such a lovely - we really appreciate it. Warm welcome and delicious sandwiches and hot drinks! Dog friendly is an understatement- dog super friendly and catered for fed and fussed! Water and dog biscuits openly available. All the staff were really welcoming to everyone who came in accommodating babies and buggies and I can imagine that this will become a regular hang out now weâve tried it. Keep doing what your doing - itâs great!

Stopped at the Works today with the children who had visited earlier in the week with their grandparents. The food was delicious and we were made to feel very welcome. Three pals of mine took me out for my birthday to this venue. They had kindly organised a 'cocktail masterclass' and dinner after.Straight away Danny the bartender was friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. For me he made the evening. I learnt a lot at his masterclass about cocktails and how to mix them. He's only 19, but boy has he got charm and pizzazz!! it was a fabulous experience and made a wonderful and unique birthday gift from my friends.The dinner too was good. I had the burger which was really nice, followed by the raspberry cake which was as delicious as my main course. The others had different dishes, but all pronounced their meal to be excellent.For me this is the ideal venue for a lighthearted fun evening with mates.
