Milestones makes a few changes to its menu every few months. It makes dining there more appealing as there often is something tasty new to try. On this dining excursion I had the wham-bam shrimp and ginger glazed salmon. The food was utterly delightful. Hi, thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed dining with us and we hope to see you again soon!

A comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I had the eggplant parmigiana sandwich which I found tasty and fairly filling. My son had the chicken parmigiana dinner and said that the taste was OK but he was very disappointed with the measly serving of linguine (about 2/3rds of a soup bowl's worth) and left hungry even though we had the carrot cake for dessert.Pasta is a very cheap filler and I would suggest to the owner/wait staff that when a big guy comes in for dinner that maybe they suggest to the cook to add a bit extra.

Not from barrie area, but like to visit as itâs a change of scenery. Went for a walk after dinner at State & Main which is amazing. Thought we would grab a night cap and dessert. Hostess\Day manager Heather quickly greeted us. We mentioned we just wanted a drink and maybe dessert. We will sit at the bar. Asked her about the 4.00 beers (it was a Monday) she mentioned it was Pabst and the rest were 5.00. Our bartender Hilary (who was lovely) mentioned that sleeman, Pabst, bud and something else draft were 4.00. Heather, proceeded in front of us to argue with Hilary âI told them that at the doorâ. Pretty Rude. No communication clearly. We finally got our bud and it tasted like complete crap. Flat, warm, lines havenât been cleaned, ever? Looked like the managers family was in for dinner which seems to cause a lot of anxiety for the servers. Once they were finished the dinner they were behind the bar, back towards patrons (us) didnât say hi, anything, hanging around near the kitchen, totally unprofessional, brown bags to go. Just weird. I felt we were getting eye balled pretty good as we were there as well, because we were sitting at the bar?? We were well dressed...felt like we were intruding. The blonde server and Hilary seemed like the only normal ones in there, and I didnât even speak to the blonde girl! Anyways, we both work at a high end golf resort, chef and server. You never know who your patrons are so treat them all equally, whether we are just getting a night cap and dessert (which I didnât even order) or a 200.00 meal, because guess what. We all have access to trip advisor.

Went with a group of 8 for a birthday dinner and loved it. Our server was fantastic- very friendly and informative of the menu and wine list. Our meals were fantastic! Yes, it is an expensive evening but I felt I got my money's worth. I will definitely be returning!

Did the groupon promotion of prix fixe. Wife and I had the mussels and cauliflower appetizers and the salmon and chicken entrees with the cheesecake and lemon creme brule desserts.Everything...everything was unbelievable flavorful. the cream red pepper orzo, the gnocchi, the thai sauce with the mussels, the seasoning on the cauliflower ap...all was just incredible. And wonderful portions. Salmon was cooked to perfection..chicken was great, a smidgen on the dry side but so flavorful. This is fine dining, it isn't cheap even with Groupon, especially when you add some wine and taxes that are on the full value of the meal. And of course you have to tip and I tipped more than my normal 15%...Jose the waiter is in the top 2-3 waiters i have ever had in my life. Quiet but engaging, attentive service, professionalism....all in all, total pride in what he does with a smile and honest advice. No doubt he was the most attentive waiter I have ever had.Ambiance is nice.Outside is the only downfall of this place...which is nitpicky..overlooks a street, tattoo parlour, parking lot. If this was in a bit better location with some sort of idyllic view...the lake, the woods, even some nice lawns, this place would unbeatable. Oh yeah, lemon creme brule...wow was it good!!!Even the washrooms. individuals cloth hand towels that you put in a wicker basket.
