We went to barichara during weekdays so yes, it is hard to find all the restaurants open, we walked a while to find the restaurants that people recommended and could not find any of them open, I could not remember anyone recommending La nube but decided to try it because the place looked beautiful. We had a great experience I ordered the Lomo ennegrecido and my husband ordered the Cabrito al romero, we both thought the food was outstanding, the flavors amazing and very good service and did I mention the place being beautiful? I just loved it, we also tried their natural juices and were pleased with them. It is a bit pricey considering it is Barichara... but we thought it was worth it. Would recommend it!

First off I need to say that I am from New York and have very high standards when it comes to Pizza. We like cheese pizza on a traditional crust. Pizza Amour blew my mind with there pizza cooked on a corn Arepa. After splitting one my first night in Barichara, my Fiancee and I came back to eat pizza 3 more times. They are super friendly, very modest and I could not get enough of that delicious pizza. And did I mention the Vegetarian Burger.....Holy Moly that was one of the best I have ever had and also served on a corn arepa. This place cannot be missed. We sat in Bar Zambomba next door while eating our pizza and drinking Mojitos. Great place, great food and great people.Thank you for such a motivating commentary, which challenges us every day to be better

For 14000 pesos each, my husband and I were served: Blackberry juice- the best of the trip so farSoup- very bland, but typical Lechuga of pork/chicken- both over cooked and dryRice- plainGarbanzo beans- very good and well-seasonedGelatin with pineapple for dessert was a let down. (Ending with a higher quality sweet would leave a better overall impression). Service was good and our waiter was very patient with our clumsy Spanish. The location canât be rivaled in this town. The courtyard garden of this large old house is a cool, quiet oasis from the heat of the day. There is also a bar in the opposite side of the courtyard to stop in to just have a beverage and rest. We thought the price of the meal was fair, given the lovely setting and staff (a cooking school and arts and crafts school). We recommend offering condiments for the grilled meats and a small, but more interesting, dessert to their menu del diá. We hope to return for dinner one of our remaining nights in Barichara. 5-service3- food4- value
