Called in one day around 3pm and was able to get a meal. Nice ambience but empty at that time. Food was tasty but I found portions a bit small. Would I assume be a lot better with atmosphere but we were there at an odd time. Worth a visit.

I booked a table for 11 for my mother's birthday and throughout the booking process and the evening itself the service was excellent. On the evening the staff were most attentive and eager to ensure that we enjoyed our night. We were served complimentary canapes at the start and at the end of the meal we were given complimentary marshmallows which were delicious.Having browsed other hotels' menus I can safely say that the Templeton's menu was the best value for our event. My starter was really tasty and I followed it with steak which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. My sweet was also lovely.Throughout the evening the staff, led by Andrew, were most professional and very attentive. We had a lovely evening.
