Reviews on Contemporary food in Arequipa, Arequipa Region, Peru. In Peru's second-most populous city, aka "The White City," stunning colonial buildings made of pearly sillar stone vie for attention with the surrounding volcanoes and snow-capped peaks of the western Andes. Founded in 1540, it's a smorgasbord of mansions and museums. The top attraction, 215,000-square-foot Santa Catalina Monastery, is like its own city within a city, complete with fountains and cobblestone streets. Arequipa is the favorite base for visiting Colca Canyon and its massive condors.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. But after such hard work, he was thirsty. And thus could think of nothing better than to create the grape and, from its fruit, make a fine spirit. He called it PISCO. And he saw that it was good. La
This was a cool place- lots of pisco options. The drinks were very creative- I had the Dona Luca. I really enjoyed the drinks!Their menu is diverse and we got wings- they were good. Of course potatoes are on the menu and they were good too. Our waitress was very nice. It's located just 2 blocks from the main square. it's a neat concept, theres 1 in Cusco as well. Well known place!High spot really, go for the drinks , sit at the bar. It's a cool set up to be able to try pisco in different forms and ways!

A 7 course degustation meal that allows you to sample incredible local cuisine with a modern twist and leave you wanting more! Absolutely amazing food with great service and the price is more than reasonable, even for someone travelling for an entire year. Definitely worth blowing the food budget for this one.

Healthy snack vegan where you can find veggieburguers, Quinoa sausages, salads, traditional peruvian dishes( of course vegan) desserts, plus sale of plant products (kale-arugula) and much more. Thanks for choose VEGANISM!
Great little gem, so much flavor! We had a sandwich, burger (this came with salad, herbs, potatoes, sprouts...) and brownie with black sesame ice cream as dessert. All vegan and gluten free possibilities / with sourdough bread. The spices / herbs / smoothness of brownie, burger and vegan sausages were so tasty! Happy we accidentally passed by, but unfortunately on our last day here. Thanks for serving us! I find my picture doesnât do the food justice :-)PS: ended up going there again on the same day ordering almost the same dish because liked it so much :D
