Very hidden but very good gastronomic experience meat is fantastic, pricey but very good, wine available are very good also that makes the perfect meal. The atmosphere is also very small and intimate, staff are very good also.

One of the recent spaces that I particularly like in Luanda is Junkembo. Simple and sophisticated restaurant, modern and unpretentious decoration in a place well used. In family or business, with friends or in any other situation, I am sure it is one of the best choices in the area.When it comes to food (by the way the main thing), looking at the menu is like feeling like a kid in an amusement park, lots of good choices. I highlight two beautiful options: grilled salmon with passion fruit sauce and sweet potato purée and fish rice and clams (the latter reminds me of my grandmother's cooking).Depending on the day, after dinner you can jump to the terrace, a place to relax and be with friends, with a good music to hear: a must see.Situated in downtown Luanda, it is close to places of interest, such as the National Library, just across the street. If you go to Junkembo do not forget to visit downtown Luanda.

I stayed in Luanda for a few weeks and went back to this place a number of times. Pricing is on the high end, but definitely worth it. The fish is excellent, very fresh and they have some decent meat dishes. The service is very good and they make an effort to assist those who donât speak Portuguese. Highly recommended.
