Definitely the only and best fusion restaurant in Ancona. This small but original restaurant in the heart of the city is really innovative and very well managed by a group of young but highly professional guys always willing and keen to satisfy customers with new dishes and genuine ingredients. Tasty handcrafted beers, natural products and fast delivery are the pluses. Sure I will come back. Very well done!

Things happen for a reason. We'd had a restaurant mix-up in Ancona and were looking for a particular restaurant that specialized in Pesce Azzurro. In the midst of the search, we stopped at the Bistrot and perused the menu. The owner wished us a pleasant evening and asked if he could help us. We told him about our problem and search, and amazingly and with great kindness, he started directing us to another restaurant. Mid way through this, I stopped him, turned to the rest of our group, and said, "how can we possibly NOT eat here with this terrific guy trying to help us find another restaurant that's not his!!"...We sat down and had a terrific meal...the menu is eclectic and the food was great -- perfectly prepared, flavorful. The owner, originally from Milano, literally has 21st Century Restaurant Ownership/Management/Presentation in his soul. The wine was great. The setting is great. You're in this little alleyway with people heading here and there. The feeling is just as the name suggests, a cosy, welcoming neighborhood bistro. Just a terrific all around experience and I just can't say enough about the owner.
