I ordered pork rind. I asked if they would be as crunchy as they seemed to be in the picture, the said "off course!". When I picked my food I realized they were overcooked (almost burnt). My guess is that the rinds were not as crunchy as they should, then they made them very dry. Keeping in mind that this is a costly place, I was expecting far more than this.
I ordered tri-trip, the flavor was very good. I was a bit disappointed with the size, I ordered a biggest piece in the menu, but when they brought the dish, the meat looked a bit small. If I take just the flavor into consideration it has been one of the best steaks that I found in MonterÃa
The place looks very nice and clean. The type of meal is the one you would expect from such places, small and with particular flavors. I ordered some ribs, they were sweet, but the garlic flavor was too strong, specially for sweet ribs. The mashed potatoes were way too greasy, I think they were made following this new trend using olive oil instead of butter. They didn't taste good.
Why pleasantly surprised? Because this restaurant actually serves up Mexican food and doesn't attempt to pass off poorly done, commercialized TexMex as being Mexican. Service was friendly, attentive and quick, chicken enchiladas were excellent, guacamole was good, beer was cold, extra tortilla chips brought to the table and immediately upon inquiring as to some sauce with a kick, they brought out two different hot red pepper sauces and sliced jalapeños! Only downside was that we waited until our last day in Monteria to try this place, otherwise we'd have frequented a couple of more times to try other items on the menu. We will definitely eat here again the next time in Monteria. Well done!

Specializing in grilled meats and typical Colombian Food restaurant. This restaurant is characterized by the spaciousness and capacity for special celebrations or corporate events... Play area for childrens and artistic recreation weekends at this site yo
I loved the big selection of traditional foods in the menu. The location and the restaurant itself is nice and service was good. I ate lunch there, but I can't wait to go back for breakfast. All ingredients seem to be organic, healthy and locally grown. My son is a picky eater and he loved this place!

Great restaurant with great meat and service. Before the food gets to the table you can enjoy "tajadas de platano frito" a classic of the colombian gastronomy with a local sauce - suero- made of milk, like a cheese. The meat is very well prepared and very taste. If you would like to taste good quality meat, dont miss this place!

The food was great and a great representative of regional cuisine for the Caribbean Sabana, the atmosphere could take better advantage of the traditional building. The place is an institution recommended by Monterianos and has a local feeling. Bring cash, as cards are not used in the restaurant.
