I wasn't sure this place was open yet but they previously had some of my favorite Chinese food so I took a chance and drove over there. I ordered the pineapple chicken balls, almond chicken and Singapore noodles along with a spring roll (they don't have egg rolls yet!!)It was a short wait, the place was just getting busier the staff were all friendly and joking with each other yet professional, polite and courteous with good suggestions. It was a long drive back to Kelowna smelling the food in the truck! but even after the 45 min wait the food was still tasty and other than being a tiny bit on the greasy side (VERY close to being just right) everything was great. The chicken balls were cooked through and just crunchy on the outside, reminded me of the old Golden Crown.I ordered WAY too much food for one person!! Ha! The singapore noodles were stuffed into the container, you couldn't get any more noodles, shrimp or pork? in there!! It was probably one of the best versions of these I've tried. I have enough food for three or more meals! For all that food it was only $40 so that is pretty cheap for the quality of food.Really the only thing I didn't enjoy was the sauce for the pineapple chicken balls, it's like they use the sweet and sour sauce from everything else and just add some pineapple juice and pineapples in there instead of an actual "yellow" pineapple sauce. This however is normal from every restaurant I've come across in the last five or so years. There are only a couple places in Edmonton where they do it right.Definitely check this place out, they also have 10% off on some food for this month (not sure if it's just takeout or not) A nice little bonus. I look forward to going there again and trying something different, and more pineapple chicken balls!Enjoy!

... the wor wonton is substantial! And best of all, it's delicious. Nice light real home made broth, likeable wontons, and all ingredients absolutely fresh. Vegetables cooked to perfection. All in all this is flawless Wor, very possibly the best in town. My previous visit here, I had the ma po, and that was commendable too...

This is a family run business that has quite a story. Immigrated some years ago and has proven that hard work and putting out a great product will make you successful. This is some of the best take out food available. prices are very reasonable also.

If you wish to enjoy a night out for Chinese Food, please try Vernonâs Kiki Gardens restaurant. It is on Vernonâs 30th AvenueâMain Street. Though it is downtown, there is usually plenty of parking available at no cost after 5:30 PM. Kiki Gardens is a buffet with lots of dishes to choose from. Meats include pork, chicken, shrimp, calamari and clams; plus, lots of veggie dishes. The staff were excellent and available when needed. This restaurant also does a lot of order out/pick up. My older daughter & family often choose this restaurant to place an order out. The buffet includes a smaller salad bar and dessert choices. It was a relaxing time together. It is âeat all you can eat!!,â so come hungry!!

Casual small Chinese restaurant located in the heart of downtown, offering both Western and traditional Chinese cuisine
It is almost inconceivable that food this great should be served in a borderline decrepit restaurant like this one on Vernon's main drag, but sure enough you'll have to put up with peeling ceilings, 1970 decor, hardly a clean environment, and an algae encrusted goldfish tank to enjoy what is possibly the best Chinese food in the North Okanagan. The servings aren't just big, they are overwhelming. The Beef Fried Rice comes on a platter piled high which can easily fill four people. The Beef and Broccoli is absolutely sublime and just as enormous a serving. The Veggie Combo platter goes on for days with big Spring Rolls, lots of fresh, perfectly wokked veg, and some of the best slurpy noodles you'll get anywhere. The chef finishes it with sesame oil and next time I will ask him to skip that step as I'm not a fan of that particular condiment, but otherwise to my taste and huge appetite it is an absolutely amazing place! We appreciate the review and feedback. Unfortunately, upkeep of the building is not managed by us and the people that do have not been very responsible with attending to fix these small issues like the ceiling (which I personally assume hasn't been dealt with for many previous owners, sadly). We do address it to them but due to our "partnership," we do not have permission to personally get someone to make adjustments. As for the cleanliness, I will address it to our staff. Understandably, it isn't pleasant to dine in somewhere that doesn't hold hygienic standards. Again, thank you for the feedback. I hope that things will improve based on this!

I enjoyed lunch so much last time I was in town, I decided to try dinner. No real difference in selection other than price is higher for dinner. Very good food and service. Love the soft serve ice cream.

Our children gave us a Temptasian Restaurant gift card for Christmas. We decided to try this restaurant, using our gift card. We ordered the dinner plate, which contained 4 selections. We both chose the chicken chow mein, sweet and sour pork. Lemon chicken and a veggie dish. It was good, but didnât feel it was excellent. The chicken chow mein was not hot as I would like, but it was okay. All the other items were good. We still have enough on our gift card to go again. Next time we will try their War Wonton soup. The booth we sat in also needs to be updated, to bring it up to customer satisfaction.
