After spending 2 weeks already in Bali we were ready for something different to the usual Indonesian affair (or pizza, burgers, Mexican!) We saw this restaurant whilst on our walks through Ubud and decided to stop one afternoon and have a late lunch/early dinner, we were not disappointed! The Har Gow was one of the best weâve had, the mains of sesame chicken and chili prawns were amazing. Absolutely recommend this restaurant, a real treat when you get tired of all the other food on offer and it really is authentic.

Towards the east end of the hectic Ubud strip is this noodle joint. Precise menu all hand and home made, with a get it before It runs out mentality. Noodles and broth at the heart of Fu Shou. Food was really good and prices were also fair. The fried sweet potato was amazing. Best option for noodle meals is probably egg noodles, as I found. Service was friendly and what I liked as well was that all the prices on the menu are the actual prices. No additional tax or service will be added in the end.
