Along Highway 173 in the Tada area of the city of Kawasaki on the left side driving north is another âGyouza no Oushou.â For a relatively busy area, it has a large parking lot and almost all the time one can get a spot, except for lunch and dinner time on weekends when you may have to wait for an available spot. For a quick and easy Japanese-style Chinese dish, âGyouza no Oushouâ is a sure place. Their specialty, âgyouzaâ is tasty and exceptionally a good deal. In the hot summer months, they also offer a couple of cold noodles (âHiyashi Chuukaâ or âReimenâ). The cold noodles come with vinegar-based sauce and they are good-eating.

I came for the xiao long bao but was disappointed. The wrapper was too thick--not delicate enough. And the broth inside was so-so.Also had dandan mian and jian dui. Both were decent but forgettable. The dandan had no numbing flavor of Sichuan pepper.
