have had two takeaways from here, mid week is fine but on the weekends be prepared to wait an hour for food. The food is very good and being a vegetarian, their extensive range of veggie food is amazing! the veggie hoisen duck is beautiful! If you are dining in, I can imagine it is a bit off putting with people coming in and waiting for takeaways as the restaurant is very small. It would be amazing if they could make a separate waiting room for takeaway customers so you don't feel you are ruining the experience for people dining in

Excellent food, brilliant staff - overall very pleased with our take-aways from Famous House. Yes mistakes do happen, as we are all human, but it is how they are dealt with that marks a place apart from others. Phoned order through on our way back home from away, and ready when we arrived.

We fancied an evening off after cooking over Xmas and weâve had takeaway from here before...but....Burnt salt and pepper squidFlavourless satay noodlesSalty duck with no hint of plum sauceNot sure I need to say anymore!New owners-need to re-evaluate and sort the chefs out!

We ordered two dishes and rice, one dish arrived with different ingredients than was ordered, an explanation was given when served, it would of been nicer if we had been told that what we had ordered wasnât available when ordering, so we could of changed the order, but in saying that it was tasty and value for money. But I did notice while waiting for our meal the amount of takeaways being picked up, this told me it was popular.But the place could do with a good cleaner. Toilets skirting boards very dirty, corners of floor in toilets need a good sweep out. Skirting boards in restaurant dirty, plug sockets dusty, cobwebs behind curtains and ceiling corners. White door going through from bar to toilet very dirty. Under tables a lot of dust.Staff very friendly.
