Reviews on Chinese food in Staunton, Virginia, United States. The city planners in Staunton, Virginia, were very careful to preserve the town's heritage, keeping power lines and cell towers out of view in the historic districts, allowing nothing to interrupt the charm of local restaurants and shops operating out of original Victorian storefronts. Staunton is also the home to the Frontier Culture Museum, The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and the American Shakespeare Center, staging plays at the world's only replica of the Blackfriars Playhouse.
Things to do in Staunton
When we are in the mood for Chinese, we call China House. You can eat in their restaurant which is small but they also offer carry out/delivery. We have ordered several items from their menu and the food is always great. The sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken is very good. The price is in line for what you get. They accept debit/credit cards for payment and they have a parking lot.
Have eaten here several times. Small buffet with several items that are tasty. Depending on when you come in, items can be sparse. I have not don it, but I have heard people ask for empty items to be filled. Price is reasonable for what they serve. Only Chinese buffet that I know about in Staunton.
We have been eating here since moving to the Staunton area in 2010. Of all the Chinese restaurants I have tried both locally and while travelling, this is by far some of the best. They did go up on their prices a bit recently which was a bummer, but the food is delicious and they do deliver, which is very convenient.
