Things to do in Sidney
Tasty usual Chinese cuisine, fast fast service. We eat there about once a week (take out) and usually it's only a ten or 15 minute wait. The moo-goo gaipan is excellent.
The take out food was terrible. I've never had General So's chicken with massive garlic before. The Mu-shu tasted burnt. They gave us no napkins, soy sauce,sweet/sour sauce, utencils, or the ever popular fortune cookies.I'm of the opinion that these ppl were taking advantage of me for not speaking in their oriental tongue. To understand that I wanted fried rice, not white rice was impossible. I recieved chicken fried rice because "no chicken" can't be understood from them. I also ended up paying 25 bucks for my 2- $9 meals, 2 egg rolls, and some other cheese filled things that I didn't order. The cheese things were very good. This place is a buffet. The buffet "looked" awsome.I wish I would have got the buffet as opposed to bother these ppl with my stupid english language and make them go out of their way to make me a take out order.
There aren't many choices for restaurants in this area. China Star opened a few years ago and it's my choice for Chinese food in the area. Prices are reasonable and food is fresh and plentiful. I'm surprised no one has reviewed this, so now I'm putting in my 2 cents. Try it, you'll like it.
