Typically my stomach can handle all types of food well, including food in foreign countries. This was the first restaurant where my stomach couldn't handle the food, each of the three times that I went here! The first time I primarily ate a dish that had probably soaked up too much oil from the sauce. After this occasion, my stomach & intestines were very displeased by my food option. I gave them a second chance for dinner and ordered a different dish which should have had less oil and I avoided the sauce. For a second time I had an upset stomach. The third time I tried their dim sum. Based on my previous experiences, I ordered carefully & didn't eat very much. However, I got sick for a third time! In addition, all of the other people that ate with me have had some degree of sickness from the food (ranging from very angry intestines to just a gassy body). I'm guessing it's caused by using old oil or something else isn't clean. The only good thing seems to be the birthday cakes, but now I'm even scared of those.

The Great Wall Restaurant is a friendly, accessible Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood. They have a wide variety of dishes, and can adapt some of them as special requests (we try not to eat pork dishes, but enjoy Mushu beef). They recently renovated the interior for a more spacious feel. We frequently do take-out (no home delivery), and the food is always warm and delicious.

Because it is one of the bigger restaurants that serves dim sum outside of Oakland and locals have the hankering for dim sum and seafood dishes, it is one busy place since it opened. Be sure to come early when they open for dim sum (a line starts before they open 10 am). Likewise, be sure to book a reservation if you have a large party for dinner or arrive early when they first open for dinner service. Otherwise, you are in for a long wait.We had an early dinner reservation to celebrate a family member's birthday. We ordered individual dishes and not from the set menu for large parties. Their seafood was very fresh. We could not get enough of their version of sashimi. The other dishes were creative, savory and tasty.The decor of blue and gold was calming and soothing. As I write this review, they are expanding to the location next door, next to the JoAnn store.

We went there for lunch after church and order Fujian fried rice, black bean chicken chow fun with gravy (but no gravy) and Chinese broccoli with preserved meat; however, everything seemed bland with no fresh flavor. Maybe it's an off day and they forgot garlic and ginger!

Super 5 is a little hole in the wall attached to a cheap motel. You wouldn't expect to find amazing food here, but that's what they deliver! I always say that the best Asian restaurants are the modest, simple, little places! Their wonton soup is some of the best I've had! The staff is very friendly, the place is never too busy, and the food is always good. It's my go-to place in San Leandro/Hayward.

China Bistro is a fabulous restaurant, in the heart of Hayward, their menu is excellent! Service is always great, their staff is very attentive. The honey walnut prawns are fabulous and their chow mien with chicken is excellent. Looking for a good lunch; chicken lettuce wraps and sizzling rice soup and your tummy will be quit continent. If your looking for a little flare to Chinese food, this is your place.

Kind of a hole in the wall, a bit off the beaten path, but worth the trip.Very clean place, with quick, pleasant service.Sesame chicken (rare find these days) was done beautifully. The hot/sour soup was delightful, better than the fare at places that charge twice the price.Quality food at a very reasonable price!
