This family-run restaurant is a real find and I would definitely recommend it. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. I couldn't manage all of my food so they kindly packaged the leftovers up for me. The service was fantastic and made me feel really at home. I was impressed at the number of vegetarian options and my paneer butter masala was as good as any I've eaten in India. I went for dinner but they do thalis if you're there at lunchtime. I'm hoping to fit in a second visit before I head home!

We have been going to this restaurant since 1992. The food is always good n service too. It is very popular and always busy. Mainly Mauritian Chinese cuisine, always very tasty. My only disappointment is that it is not open on Sundays and Public holidays.

Not sure where to start. Human hair on plates; Dishes not as described; Dishes over-salted and lacking taste; Table being cleared whilst people still eating; Clueless staff; Unrealistic pricing; Stomach hurting the next day.This place really is a dive. Even though I was a "tourist" I visited with locals and we were all dumbfounded. Usually when I visit a place like this I feel angry at the service received; but my my overriding emotion was pity for the staff - they clearly haven't been trained properly.Please avoid at all costs.

We recently stayed in Lux Belle Mare and had dinner in the Duck Laundry 4-5 times. The service was amazing - thank you to Beelur and his team. The duck pancakes were very tasty and there is a great choice on the menu. The presentation of the desserts is 5 star. Thank you

A beer & 1 cubic inch of Marguerita cost us RS1000. The beer was excellent. Service rather slow & had to go to bar to request drinks then felt ignored.

On the two occasions we visited this tiny restaurant (attached to a B&B establishment) we were the only customers, but it didn't matter. The staff were so welcoming and helpful it was like having dinner at a friends house.The food was excellent and took a reassuringly long time to produce, showing that everything is freshly cooked on the premises.As I said, the service was exemplary. although they did run out of white wine on our second visit!Reasonably priced and fairly near to our accommodation at the Maison d'Ete (separate review) definately not to be missed if you are in the area.
