Rexburg is the principal city of the Rexburg, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Fremont and Madison Counties. The city is home to Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-Idaho), a private institution operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

This is a new favorite for me in Rexburg. Located just west of the BYU Idaho campus, and near Porter Park, the location is easy to find, and very convenient for someone who is passing through who would rather have a nice meal instead of fast food. The very friendly chef, who also owns the place, has travelled extensively around the world, and includes several variations on international dishes as a result. Most of them have an Asian flair to them. The food we enjoyed was absolutely wonderful. In every way we were pleased. I spoke with another customer as we visited before our food was complete, and he said that this is the only place he eats out, and does it often. I can see why. I loved the generous portions, the skilled blend of flavour and the many choices. If you enjoy meats, this is a great place to visit. Every piece was succulent and delicious. Obviously, I am having a hard time not gushing about this little gem of a place.

The service is good and the food is wonderful! The restaurant is in dire need of a complete top-to-bottom makeover!!! What is the proverbial hole in the wall Restaurant , the place is a dump and the food is awesome. The owners need to take a little more pride in what their restaurant looks like. We eat here once a year while passing through Rexburg and we have never been disappointed.

I usually don't like to write bad reviews but this has to be the worst food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. My 18 year-old daughter actually spit out the food. I wish I had listened to the writer that said that the water was the best on the menu because it really is.

I am from Idaho so I have sadly been raised with not the very best Chinese food. Yet, I like New Fong's restaurant because they have good service but the food is a little pricy compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the area. It doesn't have any special Chinese food that makes them stand out from the rest.The food is good normally flavorful but nothing special. Just don't go there thinking that their Chinese food is going to be like what you would find at the Pacific or Atlantic coasts of the United States.

The portions are fairly priced. The place is clean. The food options you can put in your bowl are great. The sauces are delicious and you are advised to use tons of them. But in the end, the service is severely lacking. I don't like to be bothered while I eat, but complete neglect is worse. The staff are friendly, but absent most of the time. We almost always have to walk to the back to ask for our bill.In the end, this place is a solid go to for us. This is my favorite food in this town, but be ready for mediocre to bad service.
