I work within walking distance and eat here about once a week. My favorite dish is the Singapore Noodles. It's not a lunch special, but it's perfect to split and eat over two days. I cannot imagine the person who could eat this extremely generous dish in one sitting. It's slightly spicy with shrimp, vegetables and very light rice noodles. It's a family run business, I believe, and the people are warm and welcoming with great service. Once, my takeout order wasn't ready and sat at a small table to wait. The young woman at the cash register brought me a pot of tea to drink while I waited. It was only a few minutes and, unfortunately, I didn't have time to finish the tea. But that was my fault...The only negative, and it's a small one, is that I wasn't excited about the sushi. It could be improved. Fresh and made to order, but it had too much spicy mayo for my taste. I'm not a fan of gloppy cuisine and the mayo and teriyaki sauce made the Spider Roll difficult to eat. Stick to the House and Lunch Specials and you won't be disappointed.

I am original from Szechuan. I have been tried many hot spot resturants in US, including Chicago, New York, and Seattle area. This is the one with the best traditional Szechuan flavor. It should not be in Japanese food category only. Perhaps add to Szechuan or Chinese food. The price is pretty higher than others.

Great Chow serves consistently good Chinese and Mandarin dishes. The menu is standard rather that creative, so if you have a craving for General Gau chicken, egg rolls, spare ribs, or any of their many beef, pork or seafood dishes, you can count on quality and service. A few years ago they expanded into the building next door, doubling their size. They also have a bar which is quite busy, and an active take out service. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant for couples, family, and for colleague dinners. I enthusiastically recommend it!

My daughter and I love their sushi--fresh and flavorful. The bento lunch specials have a nice variety, the shumai is particularly tasty as is the teriyaki. My friends love the fried rice plates and the sweet potato fries. I'm getting a group together to go for hot pot when I have the chance. The staff is very considerate and the service is very good.

I believed this place was moved from Boston to Quincy recently? Their dim-sum was typical with any Cantonese restaurants in Chinatown in Boston. Good selections & better price than most other Chinese restaurants within that area. Easy free street parking is a great plus for any eatery & service was friendly & prompt.

I was with several family members and dropped in for a late (8PM ish) light dinner and drinks. There were 6 adults. We were seated quicky and were immediately served ice water and tea. The waitress then asked about other drinks. Those were served quickly and of course we were chattering so much we were not ready with a food order. The waitress patiently offered to come back. No hassle... we ordered 2 large pupu platters and some fried rice.Oh my! When the food was served we immediately knew we had over ordered! But all was hot and suprisingly fresh and tasty. Shout out for the crispy, flavorful and not-greasy chicken fingers and yummy eggrolls. The other items were also better than the average Chinese place, just not standouts. Service was fast and pleasant and patient, there but not overbearing.Ambiance: typical decorations. When you enter, the resteraunt is on the right. LARGE bar with a stage and dance floor on the left. The live band was loud enough to be clearly heard in the resteraunt. They were not to my taste and we laughed over some of the song selections but the folkes on the bar side were having fun. The noise did drive us out... But, again, it was a Saturday night so not unexpected.

Bistro Chi is tucked away off Hancock St in Quincy. At the time there seems to be construction going on but inside the pulse is definitely different. This little gem has really tasty food at good prices and the speciality drinks were awesome. A great place to hang out Friday after work. Great choice of music as well.

This restaurant has been in place for approximately 10 plus years. Plenty of free parking. Weekends there will always be a waiting line to get in. So plan you day. The dim sum is excellent given the vast variety and assorted dishes. The dim sum is delivered to your table via carts. They are always hot and fresh. There is a walk up station with black bean clams, pastries, congee aka jook, different noodle dishes, green vegetables, and other asst. dishes. The service is alway good, but at times it was very busy and our waiter was running around.

If your idea of a good meal is a quiet evening with perfect service, this is not your place. However, if you will allow yourself to be adventurous and get into the spirit of family dining - Chinese style - try South Garden. The food is very tasty. It is quite simply some of the best, authentic Chinese food I have had in a long time. Even though we had a âsafeâ selection of foods - foods that I have had before somewhere else and nothing exotic - They managed to infuse the food with flavor in ways that surprised me. Thatâs hard to do after eating Chinese food for over 50 years.
