With a group of 4, we ordered 5 dishes plus their 8 Small Plate offering. Orders are placed on an iPad. Service was excellent, but food quality was nothing special, just OK. For 4, our bill was 326 RMB (no alcohol). We were disappointed that the Shangri-La Hotel's signature restaurant wasn't better than this.

We were recommended by a cab driver to come here for 'famous' seafood. However, I found it disappointing. I realized that all seafood places in China are the same. The same setup and the same way of cooking. We went to a seafood place in Qingdao and the taste is the same there and here.

Set along the beach, but if you want a table/room by the window you have to book I think. We were happy in a windowless room, so we got in easily. Choosing food is from an area of tanks and ice, and there is signage as to the cooking styles etc for you to do your order. If you donât have someone speaking Mandarin then you are in trouble as nobody spoke English and nothing was in English. Okay you can point at what you want, but cooking style etc canât be mimed. Food was good â not amazing but good. Price was a little higher than I expected â perhaps the location adding cost.
To order in english is quite challenging but you can point at all the sea food and dishes, since it's fresh lying there in the entrance area. the great white building is easy to find at the north west corner of Hebei and Hongqi street. although it's not a western touristic area, I recommend outstanding sea food for a decent price.

I can't get enough! We plan to visit twice on this trip. The spicy jiaozi is so juicy and delicious. We also had the cilantro pork jiaozi done GuoTie style. Phenomenal!
