Perfectly located just south of I-84 and all the motels, this restaurant was perfect for a couple of road-weary travelers. The service was fast -- waitress was friendly, although the restaurant was fairly full and she was the only one serving. Food was typical Chinese, no surprises, freshly made and not overly salty. I found the breading on the sweet n'sour pork a little too thick, but it still tasted good. Huge portions, but we couldn't help but clean our plates!

Big servings, a bit greasy, restaurant needs a top/down cleaning. However, this was convenient to our hotel and also very reasonably priced. We took the leftovers and microwaved them the next evening and it tasted better - it's Chinese food afterall. The leftovers are always better! It seemed to be popular with the locals; I suspect it's because of the big servings and affordable prices.

This restaurant was surprisingly clean with a well stocked buffet line. All the food was hot fresh and appealing. Cost is 9.00 dollars! for dinner.Did I say how clean it was?Staff were courteous and friendly. Very good choice if you are looking for Chinese food for dinner.

If you frequent this chain you know what to expect. We were looking for "fast food" on our way though, but not burgers. The food was good and the service was also. The bathrooms were clean, which I appreciate, but did not have a baby changing station. It isn't far from the Interstate, and easy to access.
You and your family can enjoy a delicious meal at Jimbo Restaurant. Enjoy a meal in our beautiful dining room. If not, call ahead for take-out or order local delivery. Choose from beef, chicken, pork, or seafood dishes. Pick steamed or fried rice to compl
This is my favorite place to go to lunch with friends after a meeting of the historical society. We can all get what we want to eat quickly at the buffet and then we compare and question and find new favorites. When you see it from the outside Jimboâs looks like an old-fashioned diner but the inside has been enlarged with booths at the front and tables and booths at the back surrounding the buffet. Diners are not limited to the buffet; there is a full menu with yummy things like Pork 'n Seeds and other favorites, but for a fast lunch choosing from the buffet is an ideal option. There are lots of choices at the buffet with several styles of chicken dishes, and two or three of beef. There are also lots of vegetables on offer. You will even find standard American-style cuisine such as grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, and salad fixings. I am always looking for gluten-free food and since soy sauce has wheat as one of the first three ingredients I have to be careful with Chinese food. I have never had adverse reactions to eating at Jimbo's, and they also advertise that their food is MSG-free, so perhaps they use tamari sauce rather than soy sauce, I don't know. I just find it easy to choose food that I can eat at Jimboâs â I just stay away from gravy, breaded foods, and the fortune cookies. Jimmy and his family are from China and happily greet each customer, lead you to a seat, and take your drink order. The servers have all been excellent when I have dined at Jimbo's even when it is really busy. Beverages choices include pots of tea and Pepsi products. Dessert can be fortune cookies, ice-cream, sherbet, or pudding. Jimbo's is popular with my family: one of my daughter's had her wedding rehearsal dinner there and another daughter - with two small babies - loves the fact that Jimbo's delivers in Payette.

Our family loves chinese food and have tried EVERY restaurant in the area. It is hands down the very best! The ingredients are fresh, portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I would recommend the moo goo gai pan. It is our favorite. But everything we have tried is good. The service has always been great as well and they have the sweetest waitress.
