MBK is the best place for shopping in Thailand specially their 5th floor where garments and bags are available but remember one thing lot of bargaining is required there if one asks for 1500 bth he will probably give you in 700- 800 bths .

We love this river view Thai restaurant for three reasons. First it has a good location on the Chaophraya riverside with good river view and bridge. Second its food is tasty and fresh for its grilled river prawn, fish and many other Thai cuisine. Third the restaurant has a pleasant ambience with spacious, clean, and Thai vintage style.

If you eat seafood, then this is some of the tastiest, freshest, delicious seafood in Bangkok. Ok it's not really Bangkok its Pakkret but worth the drive. Excellent vegetarian options try the chicken and cashews for the meat eaters... substitute tofu for great vegetarian. The black pepper mushrooms is a top ten dish in Thailand... not found very often, fried up with vegetables, delicious. Meat eaters - minced pork with black olives, this is a must eat. Lots of excellent green vegetable dishes. I've lived in Thailand for 6 years and this is one of my all time favorites. Huge delicious grilled prawns served with seafood sauce.

Delicious Chinese cuisine, dim sum is good.Serving Chinese cuisine and dim sum available at lunch, dim sum buffet also available <1001 Thb net as updated at 6th Feb 19> Many choices for dim sum to choose, fried dim sum are nice. I ordered a couple of dishes, then ordered another as the menu said "small" medium and large - and I was taking it in the "small" size. It was only like $10/ plate, so I thought I was getting small portions!@MISTAKE!The fried rice plate, which was full of seafood and all sorts of yummy stuff, was enough as a meal for at least two people, and when the other food came, well - I should have invited at least 3 hungry friends.The restaurant was quite empty (it was early evening) so I had 3 waitresses (maybe 4) sanding and watching me eat in close proximity, and although it was a bit weird, it was only to make sure there was nothing dirty in my way or to attend to my every whim (typical Thai I suppose) BUT, maybe it was anticipation and wanting to see what this oversized westerner was going to do to the mountain of food!The food was excellent, really tasty and well made. Sevice was exemplary and certainly one of the best I had attended in Bangkok!If you stay at the novotel impact, do yourself a fovour and walk across the road and spend some time here!
